Please send prayers (and wine): Dh has come down with the dreaded man-cold. He is currently snoring away next to me in bed (yes, we're #old and in bed at 8:30)
If he has what C has, this week is going to be ugly.

Okay so this is not for the faint of heart. Chase likes to poop in the evening after dinner, so I usually get him situated in the powder room around the corner from the kitchen and go back to working on lunch prep. He's usually fine solo. Usually. I don't remember WHAT he said, but I went running in and he's sitting there with wet-looking hands in front of him and a sour look on his face. And a brown smear on his upper lip. He told me very sweetly that he just wanted to taste it.

Good news about the daycare situation tallb, did you send a strongly-worded email (ha) or was this just a coincidence/you got lucky? I copied in the director saying that I was very disappointed considering it was 90% chance just a few weeks ago. No one responded to that email and then today we get the offer (but director wasn't copied), so who knows. We know administration is not this best at this daycare, but location is best option for our situation and we know what to expect. The lady sounded lovely for the in home daycare, so I feel bad, but I don't want to put her somew for one month and move her again when we have enough PTO and my MIL to swing it.

Ok, I have to get this crazy ass dream out of my head before I forget it. I was at so sort of outdoor venue helping set up for current day Backstreet Boys. lahdeedah was also attending so I ran to her hotel room, while she wasn’t there, to use her crazy hair curling iron. I ended up accidentally breaking it, but she said it still worked fine and that I didn’t need to replace it after I offered. BSB didn’t play any of their old stuff because they said they couldn’t get rights to it. My sister and I sat backstage during the show and were so excited. Somehow everyone then went to some sort of Asian country. We were a swimming cove for a while and then went on some sort of trolley tour through the city. We went through this massive shopping place where it would stop for a while to let us look around/buy things. Most stuff was junk but interesting. I woke up before we made it out of the store. All of it was bizarre. I love that I was in a dream including BSB. LOL. My favorite boy band ever❤️

So much driving today. I’m just glad it’s over. The kids took a car nap on the way home, so they may be up a bit longer than I would like them to be. I’m looking forward to having the house to myself tomorrow. I feel like it’s been non-stop since Friday and I’m ready to get off the ride.

Wow joelies ... just wow. Hopefully he decided it’s not worth going after again! 🤢 Our poop story isn’t near as bad as these others...but S has been “helping” at diaper changes. I rip the sides of the pull-up and before I can even grab a wipe she yanks the pull-up out from under her and slings it to the side. Not a big deal usually...except when there is poop! And she has no concept of the yuck factor. So if she gets it smeared on her or anything...she doesn’t care, or understand, and isn’t phased. And yes...my 6 year old is still not potty trained. I will be buying diapers forever 🤦♀️. She will go pee on the potty when we set her on there...but never tells us when she has to go. Which I read that kiddos with CP have trouble with feeling the urge to go. But I keep praying that one day it will just click for her.

lfig is she in diapers or pull-ups? I’m not sure what to do with Xander because he is like one meal away from outgrowing the biggest diapers. He still is wetting super heavy at night, though. And I am told pull-ups don’t fare well with poop. He’s the same as S with “helping.” Tries to wipe, gets it all over, does the alligator death roll. Woof.

Dude tried to eat his poop when he was around nine months old.
He had a fever and was super fussy (turned out it was his first bout of HFM), so I took him to the pedi. I heard all this whimpering in the backseat, but assumed he was just letting me know he didn’t feel well.
Pull into the parking lot and go to get him out to find he’s got it on his hands, around his mouth, and pretty much everywhere. It was like he was sitting in poop soup.🤢

kim22 it’s a game where you score points each day for how well you stick to each of the seven daily habits. Nutrition, movement, stretching, sleep, hydration, and two others I can’t recall ATM. Let me know if this link doesn’t work: www.wholelifechallenge.com/

I haven’t had any problems with them with poop. But I’ve heard that as well. I’ve also heard that when they outgrow the biggest size....you can get a “prescription “ for some and insurance usually will cover them. I’ve also heard that once they turn 3, especially with a diagnosis of developmental delay, that insurance will cover. I’ve never checked into it because I like the brand we use. And I’ve always felt like we were on the cusp of being out of diapers....for 3 years now 😬.

Thank you!
