Morning! Gray Misty day here, but glad to get everyone off to school. Just met my coworker for coffee and heading home shortly. The PTA has some kids musician coming tonight tot he school, so we may try to make that. I need to figure out when to visit the daycare I'm interested in, hopefully tomorrow will work.

Good morning! My sister just had her baby three weeks early! Everything went great & they’re coming home in a little bit, hopefully I get to snuggle a baby tonight!

Morning. Layla is home sick with Tim today. I figured she was about to get sick, she kinda had that look yesterday. I'm really hoping Charlee doesn't catch whatever they have.
I'm just at work listening to people ask stupid questions over a conference call about our audit processes. This stuff hasn't changed people, you should know the rules by now! They are looking for loop holes instead of just doing things correctly.

I have tomorrow off. I'm going to eat lunch with Cadence for her birthday.
They have asked for volunteers to help at their Book Fair, but I don't wanna, so I'm just going to spend most of my day watching hulu and netflix. Oh and reorganizing my kid's crap.

Morning. I’m so tired. The hotel life is not for me. Their mattresses are too firm and I had a very hard time falling and staying asleep. Plus, H got one of those pomsie toys for her birthday and it randomly started talking at 3:30 am, which is not freaky at all. The party went great yesterday, the pool was basically empty except for us. One of my friend’s little girls (3) went under and DH had to rescue her but other than that no issues. She’s just fine today, thankfully. DH is off work today so he’s going to pick S up from school and I’m going to try to take a nap. We need to get groceries at some point today, so that’s the plan for the rest of the day.

Welp, so much for that nasal lavage they did during surgery on Tuesday. Saturday morning H woke up with disgustingly thick yellow/green snot. Great!
It backed up into his eyes so I started the pink eye drops to get rid of any infection. WTF UNIVERSE?
AT least M is feeling better. I just hope H doesn't catch strep throat from her.

Morning! Congrats auntie nam2013! Is this the first baby (besides yours) on your side of the family? We were out the door early for C’s 3 y.o. well check and flu shots for both kids. They always do great with shots and today was no different so we stopped for a donut afterwards. B is about to get on the bus. No big plans today, I really just need my kids both back in school and my H to not come home for lunch this week. Way too much togetherness lately! |

B had bronchitis for like 2.5 weeks. Finally got over it last week, was healthy for like 2 days, then woke up Saturday with a nasty cold. Enough already! I'm just praying it doesn't get any worse and that S doesn't catch it. His birthday party is this weekend.
Speaking of birthday parties, S and his BFF got invited to a party this past weekend for a kid in aftercare. It was at a really cool play place, and I figured it was a class party and then they added the kids from aftercare. Nope. All family, plus S and his BFF. It was super sweet, but also kind of odd that we were invited. We've never seen them outside of school or anything. Now I am feeling guilty b/c we didn't invite this boy to his party next weekend. S didn't mention him when we were going through who to invite.
So, do I do a last minute invite? Or just forget it?

Afternoon!
It’s been a busy morning. When I took the kids into the garage to leave for the bus stop, there was a bird darting back-and-forth (I’m terrified of them)
I don’t know if it made its way outside but I’ve since closed the garage doors, and I’m hoping for the best. And they just got a panicked text that he basically has to bring it all down when he gets home and clear out the alcove to make sure there’s not another one in there.
We dropped Josie off, took Charlie to school. He’s been having some separation anxiety at drop off and cries hysterically for me to stay.
I usually get a text from his teacher in the amount of time it takes me to walk to the car that he has settled down and is playing. So different than Josie who would basically lose her breath and could not be distracted. He tells me he has a great time when I pick him up and that he enjoys his classmates and his activities, so I’m hoping this phase is short-lived.
I neglected the laundry this weekend, so I’m on load number three right now.
