guster lol, before I even got to your comment about that, I thought WTF to Tuesday. I'm evil and one that came to mind was "kill two birds with one stone" and all the dark costumes that could go with that. Or a really awkward "raining cats and dogs" with cat and dog stuffies attached all over. Nothing that seems practical to wear all day or like it will translate the meaning well. WTF school staff? Honestly, a lot of parents won't even know what the hell that means. I predict that will be the day with the least participation.

guster that is super weird. I literally have no ideas how a 6 year old would accomplish this.

guster I'd have to google 'idiom' and I'm too lazy for that nonsense when it comes to dressing my kid for school.

Crazy, right? I like the idea, but then you have to teach them first!! We’re leaning toward under the weather with a headband of a raindrop, a sun, a cloud, and a snowflake. MH just suggested the cat’s pajama bc that’s super easy!

I just got the schedule for Josie spirit week. Monday is sports day Tuesday is dress as your favorite idiom Wednesday is blue and gold day Thursday is throwback Thursday (dress from any decade) Friday is wacky hair and pjs Can we talk about Tuesday? I know what an idiom is I don’t think my six year old doss, and I’m pretty sure they haven’t been studying in school so this might be a challenge. I was also just looking at the calendar so we could find a date for the holiday party at her school, and I saw that this Friday is the 50th day of school and they’re asking kids to dress in 50s attire, but nothing has come home about it and Josie hasn’t mentioned it. Im just glad to know that M’s school isn’t the only one that did this. I thought it was weird. Still do. Maybe they aren’t pushing it to the K5 classes? M’s teacher sent a note home about it weeks in advance. ETA: sorry I’m no help wit the idiom dress up. Unless she wants to be a “piece of cake”? I thought about you when I read it! I emailed her teacher and they are in fact participating. I’m going for a half sandy/half rizzo look bc I know we can do that from what’s in her closet.

I’m enjoying the last of my peace and quiet till MH gets home. He’s been gone for the last 3 days and will be home this evening sometime. Tomorrow is infusion day for S so I need to break out the good stuff (koolaid!) to get her well hydrated for her IV. Roomba day 7 - still in love! Except today I got a notification ... I began to wonder if a sinkhole opened up under our house. Then when I got home it was stuck on a shoe 😂.

lfig, lolz. I'm glad Roomba survived. Our Buddy was out for the count (another idiom for you guster) and I finally got the trouble-shooting figured out and he's up and running again. Checking his haul for the day and seeing all he did without any effort on my part makes me so happy.

A pipe burst at M's school and there is 4" of standing water in the bottom floor and the 1st floor is pretty destroyed as well. Not sure if/when he'll have school again...

Has anyone used CBD oil? Was researching it a bit as maybe something that could help with anxiety. I’ve heard good things about it if you use a reputable company. I see a lot about it in the epilepsy group I’m in, and when people ask about it many talk about taking it for themselves for anxiety etc.

I can’t remember if it was here or the gift thread I saw the doll house talk in....but I have a suggestion...
When assembling, use super glue! S took hers apart numerous times. I finally got tired of reassembling and super glued the pieces. Best decision ever!

I would not be delighted tgrimes. Of course M is always cute but that’s a lot of money for prepaid pics. At least *try*, Photographer. Do they offer retakes? Our school uses Lifetouch and I saw something about a second date. B’s were actually good, but C’s weren’t too hot. I haven’t loved the photog the preschool uses but that’s about the only think at the school I don’t love, so oh well. Luckily I didn’t have to prepay for either kid.

I paid $45. Just let us order afterwards people! Dang. That sucks If I understood, if you were unhappy with the pictures received, your kid just went for retakes on the assigned date, no more money necessary. Have you heard about retakes? Our date was on the calendar as well as facebook.
