Hi.
M2 and I slept in because MH took M to school. After I got him to school, I ran a few errands and came home to do some laundry and picking up.
Just found out I won’t be able to pick up my car until next Monday. 😩 I’ve waited this long to get something new, I guess one more week should be easy, right?

Morning. Dd was running a high fever and was up all night. Today was my big event from work. It went well in general, but the comedy duo we hired was way way way to crude. I mean lines about lube, sex, not being able to say no to nice d*cks... mind you the mean age of guests was around 70... let’s just say the Andrew sisters tributes, vintage photos, popcorn, snacks & drinks after the show went down a lot better! I raced home after to walk st Maarten with ds, think trick or treating, but songs iso tricks, and no scary things. I’m exhausted.

So my H turned around and came back home due to the weather. He sent me a text to see if I had anything planned for dinner. I asked him to set chicken out, figured I'd figure something out in the IP. He asks if I want him to make a casserole he used to make. SURE. I literally can't remember the last time he cooked. He asks me if he can use the top oven.
We have had this oven for 2.5 years and my husband has never once used it. JFC. Yes, you can use the top fucking oven.

Aww happy birthday to C, she looks so grown up, flamingo ! Do you feel like she's at a similar stage to B at the same age? I assume it's because we DID have a baby in the house, but Colin seemed so much older, you know? Chase will forever seem like a baby to me, or so it feels. I feel the same way about my 2. But also, S actually was super mature compared to the way B is now. Like I specifically remember him doing things at barely 3 that I would never ever let B do. |

tgrimes that's the worst! our ENT always schedules the kids first thing in the morning so it's not as rough. Which on the flip side was rough b/c we had to leave the house at 6:30 AM and he normally doesn't even wake up till after 7. But I'll take an early wake up over waiting till noon any day!

It’s funny, for me she seems older than B did at this age. Part of it, I’m sure, is that she is so much more verbal than he was at this point. But I think because she strives to keep up with B in all things, and her personality is not really the ‘baby’/youngest child persona, she tends to seem older, too. |

Happy birthday to C flamingo! Speaking of the younger one seeming less mature.... H just did this to himself  I’m not sure if I should try to have it fixed. He just got haircut 2 weeks ago. I don’t want it buzzed, so hopefully it will just blend in as it grows. |

Hey. No school for either girl today because of Veterans Day. We went to a friend’s house this morning and S was a disaster when it was time to leave. Screaming, crying and the whole 9. She went down for a nap immediately when we got home. I did a little online shopping this afternoon so after DH gets home I need to run to target and old navy to pick up my orders. H needed more cold weather clothes. Happy birthday to C flamingo! |

That has happened to us twice with B...once with the tonsils/adenoids last fall, and when he was a toddler with his sedated ABR (although that was unintentional...the ENT got backed up with a super intricate case so our 8 am appt turned into a 1 pm appt—talk about torture). Neither time was great but he actually did better than I expected...there is so much at the hospital/surgery center to distract them, which helped. We did keep B up later than normal before he got his tonsils out to feed him one last time, and let him drink as late as he was able the next morning.

I need your prayers guys.
Apparently there is a gas leak at my office. They shut the gas off before I left today and told us to take work home in case the gas is still off in the morning. It's going to be 5 degrees here overnight, so if they dont find the source today, I get to 'work from home tomorrow.'
So prayers they dont find the leak tonight.

We ended up getting maybe 6-7in of snow. The kids were so happy. They played while I shoveled. I got about 3/4 done when a neighbor a few doors down came with his snowblower. SO NICE! I need to write him a thank you.

It worked!
I just sent a text to our HR manager for an update and she said to work from home tomorrow. Her assistant is working on sending the text to all employees letting us know not to come in.
They have doubts it will even be fixed tomorrow.
