Weeks/Due Date - 9w4d / June 11
Symptoms - nausea comes and goes, still exhausted, waking up at night to pee, boobs have gotten bigger
The Good - sickness seams to be decreasing thankfully. Not totally gone but I'm doing a lot better these last few days.
The Bad - I'm so tired but sleeping like crap, which makes me more tired. And DH leaves tomorrow (for 3 weeks) so I'm gonna be on my own to take care of the boys and keep the house clean once it's listed (should be this week).
Milestones/Appointments - I'm not sure what's happening with my appointments. My doctor put in referrals for a 10-week ultrasound and for the high-risk OB consult (usually happens before 12 weeks). I still haven't received confirmation of either of these appointments. I get pretty intense monitoring due to my health conditions and the high-risk OB is the one who usually sets that up, so I'm getting concerned about that appointment not being scheduled yet.
To Do List - figure out what is happening with those appointments I guess

Weeks/due date - 9w6d/June 9
Symptoms - still really tired, some headaches, some nausea and gross feelings
The good - My nausea has mostly gone away enough to eat better and exercise more often like I normally do (just taking it easier)
The bad - I feel like sugar is really affecting me lately and I’m worried that it might mean gestational diabetes. My Glucose test numbers were super low with DD, normal with DS1, and borderline high with DS2-but not enough for a diagnosis. Last night I think I had too much sugar before bed and woke up in the middle of the night feeling really disgusting. I’m going to try to really watch my sugar intake and see if I feel any better.
Milestones/appts - tomorrow is 10 weeks so I can go get all my bloodwork done, including for NIPT. We didn’t find out the sex of DD or DS2, but we plan to find out from NIPT this time, because I want time to process if it’s a third boy in a row.
To do list - still not much!

Weeks/Due Date - 10+3 June 5th
Symptoms - Nausea has improved a lot. My boobs are getting bigger and my bloat is becoming noticeable.
The Good - I’m starting to feel human again.
The Bad - Still exhausted and trying to hide this pregnancy for 2.5 more weeks.
Milestones/Appointments - Next appointment is 10/27.
To Do List - We are going to announce to family at thanksgiving by having DD2 wear a shirt that says “I’m thankful because I’m going to be a big sister” so I need to order the shirt!

Weeks/Due Date - 7w1d / 6/28
Symptoms - short of breath, bloating, nausea, constipation, cramping, breast soreness, night sweats
The Good - the fatigue seems to be subsiding, I’m mostly feeling pretty good
The Bad - the nausea is annoying. It happens a lot right before bed and that sucks. I’ve been having a hard time falling asleep because I’m hot, even though the temp in my room is fine.
Milestones/Appointments - nothing for a couple of weeks
To Do List -

Weeks/Due Date - 7w 3d/June 27th
Symptoms - fatigue, nausea, vomiting, sore boobs, cramping
The Good - still pregnant
The Bad - getting real tired of throwing everything up all the time.
Milestones/Appointments - none currently.
To Do List - call the office I’m transferring to and see if we can actually set up an appointment. I’m irritated because I have spoken with the OB coordinator several times and tried to explain the importance of being seen ASAP and they are taking their dang time.

Weeks/Due Date - 7w / June 30th
Symptoms - all of them. except throwing up, that hasn't happened... yet. close call this morning though
The Good - saw a bean measuring 1-2 days ahead with a heartbeat yesterday!
The Bad - I swear I forget each time how bad this nausea and metal-mouth is. I don't feel fine unless I'm snacking on something, and even then the "fine" feeling is very short-lived
Milestones/Appointments - finally saw the heartbeat yesterday!
To Do List - many things. I have bloodwork to go do, and because my MFM wants to monitor all of the things early, I get to do an early GD test and an early 24-hr urine. Joy.

fikafairy, congrats on seeing the hearbeat! Out of curiosity, what does an early GD test and 24-hour urine entail? I'm thinking of asking to be tested for GD early because of a few symptoms.

sdlaura, the early GD test is just the glucose test early on, and the 24 hr urine is because they want to keep an eye on my levels since my BP has been borderline high for a few years. Some of that is also getting a baseline before my blood-type issue immunological infusions start at 12 weeks, since the IVIG can screw up some different levels. It can't hurt to ask? But they want me to do it for a number of reasons, even though I've never had it in previous pregnancies.

Thanks fikafairy! I'm having some more serious fatigue and headaches this time around vs. previous pregnancies, and it seems to be connected to what I'm eating, but it's hard to know how much of that is just normal pregnancy stuff/the fact that I'm older now and all pregnancies are different, versus a different issue.

Weeks/Due Date - 16w, twins will be born ideally between April 1-15 (36-38w)
Symptoms - growing larger by the day. I’m already as big as I was at 6 months with a singleton. It’s crazy. I’m getting winded very easily and household chores tire me out so much faster.
The Good - I’m finally over my 2 week bronchitis/sinus infection that was testing my will to live, lol. I’m in the “cute pregnant” phase of the bump right now.
The Bad - waiting to find out the sexes is killing me. I’m having lots of diarrhea thanks to stupid antibiotics.
Milestones/Appointments - next appt is the 18th.
To Do List - next on the list is finding cribs.

willow at this point can they tell if the twins are identical or fraternal? I say that thinking of the sacs and not anything else....I’m actually if that was a stupid question now....🤔🤔

The tech also could tell that I ovulated from both ovaries so one egg came from each. Crazy what they can see!

Crazy what they can see! Ok...whew... I started to doubt my question. That is so cool. Yeah I knew nothing about it until that day! Ha. I guess they can see the scar tissue on the follicles that release the eggs so they know where you ovulated from. And I had fresh scar tissue follicles on both ovaries so the “hyper” ovulation happened from both sides.

fikafairy The metal mouth is the worst for me. I can handle the nausea but I hate when I am actually hungry and nothing tastes good.

Weeks/Due Date - 9+4/June 13th
Symptoms - nausea and generally feeling gross still, fatigue is sliiightly better maybe? Hard to tell. I do feel like I could make it to the gym again but now I have a bum toe which is super annoying. I’m also feeling what I think is indigestion a lot more. Ugh
The Good - I’m hoping my energy is slowly starting to come back 🤞
The Bad - Nothing too terrible
Milestones/Appointments - nada this week. Except I’m about to be 10 weeks which just seems so crazy. I feel like I’ve known for so long but it also feels like it’s already flying by. So weird.
To Do List - I thiiiiink I may go ahead and tell my family this week? I don’t know, I’m visiting them this weekend for my sisters birthday and am kinda like, why not? I was planning on waiting until 12 weeks but I won’t see them again until Christmas and I think I’d rather tell them in person. We’ll see. I’ll probably tell my DD this week. I got her a Big Sister shirt and I’ll have her unwrap it. I can’t wait to see her reaction.

Weeks/Due Date - 9 weeks
Symptoms - Indigestion, heartburn and night sickness.
The Good - My tear looks better and no more spotting. I graduated from the RE today. I am emotionally and financially ecstatic. Free ultrasounds now, yes!!
The Bad - Nothing
Milestones/Appointments - I called the OB line and a nurse should call to set me up with a doctor. The OB I saw when pregnant with DD went into private practice...ugh.
To Do List - I have to go through DD’s old toys and see what’s worth keeping. I want to put things in crates based on months.

I learned that I'm too neurotic to go a month without knowing whether there's a heartbeat during the first trimester. So my OB's nurse practitioner was nice enough to let me come in today for a peek on the handheld US machine, and I'm feeling a lot more relaxed going into the weekend.
Is anyone else having an NIPT test? I got my blood drawn for that on Tuesday and I'm anxiously awaiting the results.

sdlaura I'll get the regular routine bloodwork that just gives your probability of DS (I'm not sure if that's the NIPT or not). The one that gives more info is considered elective here and I'd have to pay for it so I don't bother.

danib I got that bloodwork too, which they'll combine with the NT scan results in a couple weeks. The NIPT is typically covered here if you are over 35 or have any history of abnormalities - so I qualify on both counts

I’m not doing any of the early testing. I haven’t done it in the past either.

sdlaura I will be doing the NIPT. I’m well over 35 and it’s covered by insurance. I did the test with DD as well. Even though this is a PGS tested embryo my RE strongly encouraged the NIPT both times.
