Speaking of nutcracker, I remember watching an animated one when I was a kid but I couldn’t find it when I googled. What I can specifically remember is they went to a “candy land” type of place and there was a train, real helpful. I want to show the girls.

@trrlcrzy I vaguely remember watching one and found The Nutcracker Prince (produced in 1990). I take it that’s not the one?

lahdeedah have you ever made the Italian wedding soup recipe from Cooking Classy? (I ask since the creamy chicken noodle recipe was hers). I’ve never made Italian wedding soup but her recipe looked great so I was just curious. No I haven’t tried that one. I’ll have to look at it. I have tried a couple of her soups, but can’t remember which ones. The chicken noodle is the one I make the most. I’ve been wanting to try the white cheddar roasted cauliflower for a long time and never did it. I’m planning to get to it this year. I think I have a pin on Pinterest from her blog of her most popular soups. |

I watched the preview and it didn’t look right. But then I found the whole movie on YouTube and scrolled through it and it looks right. I guess we will just have to watch it to make sure. |

I just bought that LEGO police station. I checked for it on Amazon to add to my list and it was the same sale price as Target had it for and an extra $10 at checkout, so it came out to 53.99. Not sure if the price would get better than that.
He saw a Ryan’s surprise egg at Target and said he wants that for his birthday.

I make cauliflower au gratin, which is really good--sounds like it might have similar flavor to the soup. |

A, MJ and I went out for dinner. The boys are having a sleep over at my moms with my nephews. They all got there at 6. She called me at 8 to tell me she'll never keep all 4 at once again 😬

Hectic day here. E started the morning off being a turd. He kicked mh so I made him sit on the steps outside and cool off (winter coat on). That fixed his attitude for the rest of the day. Then my in laws showed up for morning birthday celebrations.
After nap 4 friends came over for a birthday playdate. 1 kid had allergies and was embarrassed by his swollen red eyes and wouldn't let me look at them. Thankfully it was 2hrs into a 2.5hr party and his parents were at the store nearby. There was so much potty (poop and butt) talk during dinner and the kids barely ate they were so crazy and loud but behaved.
These days are so exhausting!

Hi! We left bright and early this morning for Josie’s birthday weekend trip. We spent a lot of the day outside and met up with family for dinner. Everyone is exhausted, but Charlie just fell out of bed, so now I’m struggling to back to sleep.

MJ usually only nurses twice all night. She nursed at 12, 1:30, 3, 4, 5 and 6:30. And now I'm having stomach trouble. So much for sleeping in with the boys gone..

Morning! My parents arrived yesterday late morning. Their gift to LO for his birthday was a mattress and bedding for his bunk bed. He loved it. So we spent the day but the ladder on the bunk bed, concerting the toddler bed back to a crib for E and bought a new microwave.
I also completed my big paper for this week. All I have left is to finish my open book test. Which I feel is harder then a traditional test.

Morning!
Yesterday was so nice; we watched lots of football, had pizza delivered for dinner, and DH took the kids to the park for a couple hours so I had some time to wrap presents, tidy up, etc.
Today we're going to one of DH's coworker's for dinner (the guy has several smoker grills and is apparently working on quite the spread). This was originally supposed to be a 'guys' night but somehow the families got involved. I like his coworkers and spouses fine but am not super enthusiastic about going, so I need to get my mind right.

Morning. I'm at work and it's been very quiet. I had one patient right after I got here but that's it. I really don't mind though because I can get things done without being stopped a bunch of times. After work today I am going to take a nice long nap. DH has to take his parents to the airport at 3 but doesn't want to bring the girls so I guess I have to stay up until he gets back. I never ended up taking H to get a haircut yesterday so maybe today, or maybe I'll make her wait until after the nutcracker.

I was a day or two late. I had a tiny amount of spotting on Friday and then nothing (I never have this) but today it seems like I’m getting my period. I bought test Friday. I feel stupid for getting my hopes up. I guess we’ll try again  . |

We had ds party for friends today & he had a blast. We kept it simple, decorating small treasure chests, dh saw out some wooden animals to paint, little cupcakes & some outdoor play. We bought some little gems to put in their chests, which they loved.
DD’s energy seemed a little low, so I checked her temp and sure enough she had a fever. Of course tomorrow is the one day a year I have to work, luckily my mom doesn’t mind to watch a suck kid.
ETA I work more than one day a year, just not on Monday 🤦🏼♀️.

I'm sorry nam2013. These past 2 years my cycle has changed a lot and I'll have symptoms like you described which previously only happened to me when I was pregnant. It's a frustrating, recurrent mindfuck. Good luck next month. |
