Just saying a brief hello. I'm sad I can't participate regularly. Oh well. Last night we booked our shore vacation. Yay. I also got a jury duty notice for mid July. Yuck would it be wrong to continue pumping just to hope I could get out of serving on a jury. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pumping wouldn't get you out of it here. They have a "lactation room" (glorified closet) at the courthouse and one of my coworkers was just telling me about a lovely 3 days she had to spend using it. The worst. Yea it might get me out of serving on a trial though. I may be weaned by then though. So we will see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Morning ladies! The mover misjudged how much space we would need so we only have about 2/3 of our things at the new house. He is driving the 10 hours back today, will finish loading tomorrow and come back with the rest on Saturday. I'm starting to second guess our moving decision 😩
DS has been doing good with the change, but someone needs to teach babies about time zones because I am not appreciative of the 5am wake up call I had today. Looking like rain today so hopefully my brother and I can get a lot of unpacking done.

Ended up at home today because DS1 has a fever. He slept on and off until about 9:30. He doesn't really look better but he's acting better.
And W must be going through a growth spurt because he downed almost 15oz in less than 3 hours. I don't know where he put it!

This morning at daycare Bs teachers told me that he rolls over immediately in the crib to try and nap on his tummy. He's still on his back at night, but when I put him down on the bed/floor he does immediately flip over to his tummy.
Anyone else have a tummy sleeper yet? DD started sleeping on her tummy around 5 months, but I guess I was just caught off guard by their comment. Good thing I figured out the swaddling situation!

ellabee Q just started rolling but I can already tell that he would prefer to sleep on his tummy. Don't judge me too hard but sometimes I will let him sleep on me tummy to tummy if he is cranky. He sleeps so peacefully like that and I can't wait till he is more proficient at rolling so he can night time sleep like that.

I can barely get her sleep sack zipped when I set her in the crib and she's rolled over. She seems to sleep sounder/doesn't move around as much on her belly.

So, my bestie's 10 weeks along and we started couch to 5k last week. Her doctor told her today that she can't do the program because she wasn't a runner previously and the jogging would "pound too hard against her pelvic floor." I really didn't think she'd be able to finish the program with me but impact seems low right now and like something she could still participate in, at least for now. She was really looking forward to it and is upset by it so I suggested we just go on longer walks. She has no history of losses or anything else and she's not entirely out of shape. Maybe I just feel like some of the reasoning is weird because my MW encouraged me to do the sort of interval training that couch to 5k uses but to stop when it became too uncomfortable

Anyone get their iud yet? I forget who was going to get one. I spotted on the day I got mine but haven't since. Normal? Or should I continue to wear liners just in case? Based on what I'd heard I'd expected spotting for like a month. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I got my at 12 weeks PP. I spotted for a day or two. And then have had random, infrequent spotting since. Also, here I am. not sure if I've posted here yet? I haven't read any threads. Still overwhelmed with all the drama/changes. Also, work is holding me hostage. Grrr.

That seems odd to me too thelittleredm. My doctor has always recommended to do what I feel up to and listen to my body. Obviously within reason and not trying to PR any races but C25K seems so gentle that I wouldn't even think twice about it.

B just started rolling onto his tummy. I think he'll sleep much better on his tummy and I can't wait till he figures it out and starts doing it. I just want sleep.

thelittleredm, was your friend like, completely inactive before getting pregnant? I did crossfit through my pregnancy, but I've been doing it for years, and did it through my last pregnancy. If I'm honest though, I personally wouldn't have started C25K while pregnant. But that's because running/jogging are REALLY difficult for me for some reason. They wind me quickly and my my body want to die. But, it's a "listen to your body" thing. I did run one 5K during each pregnancy. And by run, I mean "jogged so slow that people with physical disabilities who were walking ended up passing me." If your friend has any kind of stamina and moves around a bit, and is comfortable with it, I think her doc's advice is...really overly cautious.

judyblume14, No, she goes to the gym a couple times a week and was doing water aerobics until her school year got crazy. Like, she isn't in super great shape but she's not completely out of shape either. That's why I was surprised by her doctor's recommendation. I thought maybe it was just me taking it weird. Hey, posting for the first time over here. I'm hoping the fact that I think I'm the only one who didn't get tagged over wasn't personal! You don't get rid of me that easily even if I'm mostly a lurker right now

bazinga I wasn't tagged either, but I can't imagine it being anything personal! @lakegirl L has wanted to eat nonstop since I got home too ellabee omg I cannot stand this trend either. It reminds me of something I'd wear in elementary school Work has been busy this week and I've been trying to keep track of everything going on here, but it's HARD. Ha. Also, my happiest baby ever is being such an asshole this week. I'm hoping it's just this leap and he gets over it soon.

rinny Q has been a hellbeast the past few days and he is normally a super happy mellow baby. I think it may be the four month sleep regression since he is the worst around naps and bedtime 😱
