So our AC isn't working that great right now. It was set to 72 last night and was 82 in the house. I can't live like that. I just hope DH can get someone to look at it today. He called our home warranty company and the company they use is closed until the 5th so they can't even schedule us yet. He has a buddy that owns a heating and air company that he's hoping can at least come by and tell us if it's a big issue we need to wait for the warranty company to fix or if we just need Freon that they can add today.

I'm up grading final papers because my university has final grades due on the 4th????
I was going to sleep in but I woke up from a pregnancy-related nightmare that has me shaken up. In the dream, I was diagnosed with cancer and some form of organ failure. Treatment options were low and we could only save me or the baby. In the dream, I just sat crying hoping I'd live long enough for K to remember me. Oy, dreams like that suck.

I'm just going to comment on all the posts apparently sarahh this happened to us earlier in the season. It ended up being a combo of Freon and the air vent coming into the house being clogged with leaves and stuff. Once it was fixed the house instantly was chilled to the right temp. We waited to long to fix it and our bill was annoying high and the house was still hot. Hope someone can look at it.

I'm also working. Ugh.
I think I will try and get my blood work done on my lunch hour. Hoping this means no one will be there...

Good morning! I felt sick for the first time in a while this morning. I don't mind the pregnancy symptoms after the midwife couldn't find the hb with the Doppler last week.
DD is playing so nicely this morning. Im laying on the couch drinking coffee and playing on my phone.
For those of you who are past the 12 week mark how is the exhaustion and other symptoms? I'm trying to remember if it went away right at 12 weeks? I'm 11 weeks today.

I think today I should start packing our camper. We leave for our first big trip of the summer in a week!
I also need to bake DS's cake for his birthday so I can get it frozen and easier to decorate by Wednesday.
It's supposed to be gorgeous this week. Summer weather came in with the calendar change! So hopefully we can squeeze in a lake morning at some point this week!
Have a good one!

benandjerrys, I'm still exhausted at 14w tomorrow. I was hoping I'd turn a corner at 12w but that didn't happen.

This is more of a FFC but along the crazy dream lines, I've been having very clear dreams involving one of my ex - BFs. They aren't sex dreams but like dreams where we are in each other's lives. I haven't seen him in 10 years. Weird.

I had a dream last night that I was cast as the love interest in the new Spider-Man movie, but the filming dates were all right around my due date. So I had to pull the director aside and tell her I would be pregnant during the filming and could they wait for me. I was really upset I might lose the part. For the record, and I am not, nor have I ever been, an actress.

Conversations with my husband (who is a teacher just starting summer break as of 2pm June 30)
Him "how are you" Me "I went to the bathroom and noticed I had peed my underwear when I sneezed earlier" Him "people usually just say 'good'" Me (realizing DS's birthday is Wednesday,DD's is early June) "huh, you've never spent this much time with me while I'm pregnant before" Him "uhhh. Ohhhh. No. Shit. I definitely didn't think about that"

I am working today and sent the kids to daycare so that DH could get projects done around the house. Tomorrow he works so it is just me and the kids and I am trying to decide if I am up for taking them somewhere to do something fun for the holiday.

Morning! I have my 12 week ultrasound later today and will be meeting my new OB. I can't remember if I told y'all, but my OB who delivered DS is no longer delivering babies. Anyways, hopefully it all goes well!!! ...I too am working. But it's a quiet day here and hence easier than momming a willful toddler.

benandjerrys no help here. I threw up for the first time at 13 weeks. Other than that I'm having a hard time deciding what's a pregnancy symptom and what's a side effect of medication changes. But definitely not feeling back to normal. Oh and the hip pain has already started about 8 weeks sooner than last pregnancy. :/

Good afternoon! Having a better day today. I got E asleep in his crib last night by 9:30 (normal bedtime is 7) and then DH took over for night wake-ups. They ended up together in the guest room around 4am but E slept until almost 6, so it was a better night than the night before. He has gotten better about going down for his naps, but that is probably because he is exhausted from his short night sleeps. I'm hoping there is some 2-year molar action going on and causing all this but who knows?
Of course, I'm feeling like DH abandoned me for the whole day because he has decided he doesn't want the car he just bought in Feb (he is a car guy, so new/different cars is not a new thing) so I think he is buying a different car today. We'll see. He spent too much on the other one so at least we discussed that this one should be more affordable. Considering we're about to double our child care expenses next year and I need to buy a new car too. I'm not being terribly productive but I did swiffer our floors upstairs and mop the kitchen, so it's something. We're having a party on 7/15 so I feel like I need to start prepping the house for that but don't want to do too much yet, next week would be better.

Good luck at your ultrasound sweetsurprise! Grades due on the 4th jessijean? Not cool. What do you teach? Sorry for all the disturbing/odd dreams. I've had a few vivid dreams but nothing too crazy yet. What kind of camping trip, tiffrobot? Mountains? Beach? Something else?

Oh and I just bought some maternity clothes on Zulily. Just a few shirts: some basic tanks, then a cute short sleeved comfy looking hoodie and a skull T-shirt since I always wear something like that when my students and I celebrate Day of the Dead. I really should get a couple of dresses I can wear when I get bigger, I had DS in August so my clothes for the end of my pregnancy are pretty frumpy since I didn't have to go to work. I'm already stressed about having to wear real shoes at 40 weeks pregnant instead of flip flops. (Not really stressed, but wondering how that is going to go...) I try to dress really nicely for school to look professional, so I hope to be able to keep that up.

Hello! I've had light cramps on and off since yesterday. I know it's totally normal around this time (I'm 11 weeks 2 days) but it's freaking me out. We have a last minute visit from a friend who is flying in tonight and leaving Wednesday so instead of going to Disney tomorrow we'll be going to be beach! FX the cramps are nothing bc I really don't want anything bad to happen when we have a guest.

I had my NT scan this morning and blood draw. No results yet. I will probably get them on Thursday when I see my dr. I also had a consultation with the MFM. My dr and I have a lot to talk about on Thursday. He basically said it's too early to decide if I should have a c section at 38 weeks. He said he isn't opposed to it but he doesn't think there is the science to back up the idea that I will go into labor on my own before 39 weeks even though it happened last time. The reason for the c this time around is because G had shoulder dystocia. My dr does not want to risk it happening again. She also doesn't want me to have an emergency c which is why she has considered delivering me at 38 weeks to lower the chances of spontaneous labor. It's so much to think about. Ugh

easternshoregirl I actually teach part time for two universities, one is online. I teach psychology for one and human development-family studies for the other. I really enjoy it except grades being due on a holiday. I got them submitted. Now grades for the other university are due at the end of the week. It never ends haha. Pregnancy hormones are in full swing. Just broke down sobbing because a cousin posted a picture that it would have been our great grandmas 100th birthday.
