Kids are still sleeping, but I think everyone is healthy enough for school. We leave for Josie’s birthday weekend away on Saturday morning so I have a little wiggle room to get them healthy.
Unrelated #1, Moms of girls, do your kids struggle to put tights back on after using the bathroom? If so, any tips? I just keep reminding her to gather from the ankle and work her way up, but i know it’s tough.
Unrelated #2, I watched American Son last night and even though I don’t think it translated well into a movie, I was gutted watching it. I thought it was very powerful.

guster, I typically always just do leggings under dresses for L, unless it's a special occasion, just because they're so much easier and more comfortable!

I was just hoping there was a trick I was missing out on because I’ve got a bunch of cute dresses that I’d like her to wear to school that I learned on Halloween will not work if she doesn’t know how to pull up tights. |

Morning! Headed to Children’s hospital for an OT and speech appointment. This afternoon we are doing pictures if it doesn’t rain. So I need opinions for S’s outfit...   Relevant to note... brown boots with whichever outfit. White tights with dress...my sisters kids all are wearing burgundy and navy variations. So I felt like we needed this color to mix it up a bit. And I have zero idea what I’m wearing yet. I threw several options in my bag when I packed but I haven’t figured it out yet. And I’m halfway thinking about running to Target or Kohl’s to find something for myself after the appointment. |

lfig, I love the second yellow dress with the ruffles! I also think it looks more "fall" than the first.

Morning ladies! SSDD here. H is supposed to be home tonight and I didn't plan anything for dinner. I always try to cook something when he gets back in town since he's been eating out, so I guess I'll be stopping at the grocery store on my way home.

I just ate hard boiled eggs. I don't like the yokes and threw them in the trash. Is that going to stink up my office??

The 2nd is actually a tunic. So it will be paired with the jean leggings laying next to it....if it even still fits! I haven’t tried it on her...because I’m the least prepared ever!

Morning.
We’re waiting on Mh because somehow my keys got locked in my car again. WTF. How has this happened twice in a week, but not in the last 10 years?? I changed the batteries in the fobs last night and stuck my key in my car and made sure the doors were unlocked. I’m guessing when Mh grabbed his key to put in his bag, he hit the lock button. 🤦🏽♀️
I think I should still have time for a quick workout. I have to go back to M’s school for Thanksgiving lunch at 11. Not sure what else is on the agenda today.

lfig I like the second outfit although tomorrow when my new furniture comes, I’m getting a yellow polka dot chair which is so not like me and even less funky than the other chair I’m getting. lahdeedah oh no with the keys. Maybe you better get a few extra fobes made.

C woke up screaming 4 times last night. He, DD, and I all seem to be getting colds. DH was able to change to an early flight and should arrive around lunch. All T wants for his birthday today is spaghetti and meatballs and a cake that is half chocolate and half vanilla. His party will be Sunday.

Morning! Back from speech and just waiting for the bus to arrive in a bit. Not much on my agenda today, I need to mail some returns back to GAP (our store closed here, ugh). lahdeedah that is so frustrating! One more reason for that new car  I'm so sorry y'all are dealing with this again tgrimes . guster obviously C is younger but yes, I rarely send her in tights to preschool this year for that reason. She's just not there yet on pulling them up so we save them for non-school days. I remember wearing tights in Kindergarten myself and being OK so hopefully J will get there soon. |

lfig, I like the 2nd outfit better. lahdeedah, that seriously sucks!! Although I did chuckle a little at the irony of it happening twice in one week.  tgrimes, I'm sorry, I hope the ENT can help. guster, I'm team no tights unless it is a very special occasion ie Christmas Mass and then they are promptly taken off. Layla doesn't have the patience to pull them up right, Hell half the time I'm pretty sure she doesn't wipe well enough

guster, no tights to school, but she wears them for ballet. I make sure she goes potty before class, but if she needs to go during class then I have to go with her and help still. Otherwise, she'll go back to class with the crotch down by her knees and not give a shit.

We got an early start this morning. I've already swept the whole house. The boys have done crafts and have been playing rough. I'm trying to get MJ to nap so I parked them for some quiet time.
