klong11 3 batteries in 3 years? Seems like there should be some recall...something is causing a battery drain. I had my last Jeep for 3 years and never replaced the battery. That is not normal. At all.

wineallthetime the attorney has made requests for him to get the papers, because we’re trying to do it amicably, but he always had a reason why he couldn’t do it. It sounds like she finally put her foot down and told him he has to retrieve them so she doesn’t have to teach him down at work or home.

I got my CT scan results back and it was normal. So for now I am supposed to keep a log of the facial numbness and tingling and we will reassess if it gets worse.

Good news! When I was in high school I had a ton of facial numbness/tingling. Had an MRI/EEG and all was normal. I notice now it happens when I laugh really hard or something and probably am not taking in as much oxygen.

Today is one of those days where I could post pictures and everyone would say “what a nice day they had but really, I was seconds away from feeding a kid or two to the gorillas at the zoo. Luckily my best friend was with me and then came over for pizza and wine and now the kids are watching Parent Trap while I polish off that wine.

I made plans for this weekend with my cousin and his wife because they have no kids and never want any and we will talk about grown up things and I so need that. Plans are at their country club though and I’m not sure I’m country club material, I hope I don’t get them kicked out 😂

One kid down, one to go... we were go-go-go all day, everyone *should* be good and tired!

C's conference went really well. In a nutshell her teacher loves her and had nothing but good things to say. A couple things she noted were that C is very mature for her age, and also very funny--we think the same thing but you're never really sure if other non-family see that side of a child's personality, so I enjoyed hearing that. I do feel like in the past 6 months her little personality has just exploded...she's really growing into herself and it's very cool to see. Can't believe she will be 3 next week.

If LO complains one more time about the corn tots I made I’m going to lose it. Every other time I make them he says he doesn’t like them then and then the other times it’s his favorite. It’s frustrating. I always use the same brand and I now will pair it with something he does like so he doesn’t waste his whole plate of food

Well, she is running for local office...DH said we should have send that factoid to her opponent for an ad..."she will literally steal the food from your plate!" I just checked the results so far and she's losing. That will always stick with me as a really bizarre moment from my time here.

I picked the fabric and sent it to her and she did the rest. I honestly don’t remember the cost but I know they were much cheaper than places like blinds to go. More in line with JCPenny but I could get something more my style. 3.5 yrs in and no problem.

tgrimes C is on week three of a five week boys hip hop class. He is doing it with a friend and really likes it. His friend is going to join regular classes that have a recital in June. C wants to do it but I suspect it is more because his friend is. It would make our weeks a bit tight with two days of karate and one of dance but it’s doable. Do you think we should do it even if his motivation is being with his friend? He does love dancing, as you’ve seen on SC.

Yes, she came in late to a meeting and sat down at my table. I was finishing up and put my dirty napkin, silverware, cup, etc. on my plate to throw them away. As I stood up, she leaned over and speared a couple pieces of fruit on my plate and then goes, "You weren't going to eat that, were you?" Uhhh, no, but we're basically strangers and you just fished through my trash to get a couple raspberries? Everyone was just kind of looking at one another like, whaaaaat?

Pretty sure Tim needs glasses. He offered to make the tacos tonight and then said "sweety this looks weird, is there always a lot of water" I asked him how much water he used, he said 2/3c like the directions said. I politely asked him to show me on the measuring cup how much water he used, he looks at me like I'm fucking stupid and then points to 1 2/3c, squints, and says "oh."

We had very intensely flavored tacos once I "fixed" it with another packet. Babe GET SOME READERS!!

I’m still dizzy much of the day but I’m functional. Work is the worst with the computer so I’m taking a lot of breaks. I found a specialty ENT that I’m trying to get a referral to. They have a whole center dedicated to vestibular disorders and balance.

Next day blinds is fairly pricey and bland options. I think JCP has a brand or some other random Dept stores where you can order by size for accordion ones. We are sticking with plain white Ikea curtains for now, I just need to get them hemmed...my big maternity leave project that most likely isn't happening 😔

And lahdeedah I got some good blackout cellular shades at Lowes. They were super easy to install and block a lot of light. Perfect for behind curtains or by themselves. I think it was $40 for 1 to fit our weird sized windows.
