This was posted in reply to an article he shared about transgender women should not be allowed to play in women's sports by the guy who partially took over our TKD studio: "Well, I find this post got a bit out of hand with some of the discussions. It was posted based on my beliefs about transgender sports. I refuse to argue science, however i was shared some information that has me researching more on what happens to any athlete going through gender changes. I do not believe there is any more than two sexes; never will; however I do wonder what the impact will be as these transformations become more common (however there are people who want to go back to their previous sex, look it up)." This guy is such a tool. Apparently one of his friends is transgender and talked about her experiences with it and how since hormone therapy the physical advantages she had from testosterone have been eliminated. I love his refusal of science and how he'll never believe there are more than 2 sexes (I think I learned about chromosomal sex differences in 7th grade), but he wants people to look up his point of view. *eye roll* The guy is nice enough, but a complete try-hard tool. He also is into hugs and is completely oblivious when people don't want to hug him. I remember before I knew him, I heard rumors that our old instructor who left didn't like him. I can see why.

They didn’t have it. They also didn’t have the wine or beer one. Boo! DAMMIT! Looks like I had my dates wrong— it’s tomorrow. I will I check again, although I forgot they don’t sell wine so it just might be a double cheese kind of day.

I'm 95% positive H has another double EI. I've been looking at his ears daily and there is fluid in his hole and the other one his canal is red and his eardrum is bulging. I called the ENT and have an appt for tomorrow morning. And so it begins all over again. Fuck. Did they even come up with a plan/dx/treatment with the immunologist or anything to that effect? When I met with the ENT & the Immunologist in September, he had been healthy for 3 months. So it was a 'I don't need to see you again unless he gets sick frequently' type of thing. The next week I was back at the ENT's office for the parotitis. Then 2 weeks later was an EI. Then 2.5 weeks later was a double EI. Now it looks like another double EI. I'm assuming he'll do a swab of the fluid in his ear and suggest another set of tubes. Once I talk to the ENT, I'll be emailing the immunologist again. I'm no longer in a wait and see mode. I believe treatment would be a prophylactic antibiotic, which is what we tried in Feb and it didn't work. However, the immunologist thought it was because his tubes were colonized. So if we try the antibiotic again, we either need to increase the frequency or the dosage.

Tow truck driver was able to jump my car. I now know what I want for Christmas- a jumper box. He even told me which one to get on Amazon. LOL So, now I'm at the shop getting the battery tested/replaced.

The first one was under warranty, but the 2nd's warranty only lasted for the remainder of the 1sts. It was stupid and from a small shop by his work. This is the 3rd battery in 3 years. It's ridiculous. The tow driver said Darts always have battery issues. Awesome.

But, he’s so science-y, inthekitty! And so remarkably knowledgeable because he talked to one person! Doesn’t seem to know sex =/= gender, though...

I hope they can come up with a course of action for him quickly, tgrimes. Poor guy. It definitely seems that by this age, having been in daycare so long, they can’t just dismiss it as “kids get sick a lot until their immune systems are more developed.”

I'm sure we'll be running more blood work.

That's so frustrating to still not have answers and the BS "wait-and-see" approach tgrimes. Good luck pushing for more aggressive care. cagoldi ugh. Good luck. I'm glad it's moving forward for you, but the process has to be painful.

lfig did the doctor have any answers for you yesterday? Maybe you updated and I missed it? I have been making muffins, pancakes, or frittata from scratch 2-3 times a week and now Dude thinks I am going to do this all the time. Lower your standards, kid! I’m about to put you back on those preservative filled Little Bites from Entenmann’s. I can’t cook a hot breakfast every single day.

I looked at hers for a while and someday may use since they look great. Next day blinds is fairly pricey and bland options. I think JCP has a brand or some other random Dept stores where you can order by size for accordion ones. We are sticking with plain white Ikea curtains for now, I just need to get them hemmed...my big maternity leave project that most likely isn't happening 😔

Hi hi - super tired today, but kids are at school and I'm home with k. My new pump just arrived so maybe I'll open that up and try it (ha, prob not) - I got a Spectra which I have high hopes for.
Mh wants to plan a vacation for either after Xmas or spring break to somewhere warm so we have something to look forward to. I agree, but that's one more thing on MY to do list, and feeling cash poor with infant care coming up very soon.

Ohh I have a question. I think a few people here have bought Roman shades. Who did you use or where is a good place to get them? I don’t want to break the bank, but I’ve decided to do a shade for the boys rooms. The previous owners left the curtains up in M’s room and I just took them down to paint and it opened up the space much more. I've bought blinds, not specifically Roman Shades from Select Blinds, www.selectblinds.com, and I've been happy. The ordering processes was super easy, came without any problems and was easy to install. I've recommended them to lots of people and they've been happy as well.

I’m all in on a cheese advent calendar. Praying MIL does not send another LEGO one this year🙏🏼 That thing was 24 days of torture.
Speaking of cheese, we decided on a Harry and David gift basket for my dad’s bday this week. Cheese, charcuterie, pears, and other snacks. Is it tacky to send yourself one? Asking for a friend...

Just saw on FB that a girl I was friends with in my Junior League Atlanta days is going to be on Shark Tank in January! She and her mom invented something called the Slumber Pod for traveling with kids. I've kind of followed along on social media as they've gone through the various steps of getting their business up and running, so I'm interested to see how they do.

tgrimes, oh man I'm sorry he is sick again A SM that I decided to be helpful to and suspend his debt for another 30 days while he gather's documents had the audacity to say "do you even have the authority to do that?" Talk about look a gift horse in the mouth man! I do, but I can also choose not to! Want to try again? Or should I take 15% of your pay this month. I guarantee he wouldn't have spoken to a man like that. Asshole. And I was being nice!
