OK all you 35+ers who are somewhere in the TTC process...let it out. Are you currently TTC? Considering TTC? Come on in.
How is everybody doing? Anything to share?

I am CD 6 of cycle 8 today. Might start EOD tonight...just because. Depends on SO. Summer vacation just started for us so I'm waiting to get out of the city and up to the boat but I'm waiting until FW is over to go since SO has to stay in the city and work. If this cycle doesn't work out I'm going to have to figure out a way to get SO up to the boat for a few days during my next FW in August because I am not planning on coming home until the end of August.

I am CD15, cycle 1 of TTC after feeling certain we were O&D. It feels strange to be back at this.

I know how you feel. I thought we were 2 and through so it took my first cycle to get back into the swing of things.

Hi all. I'm intro'ing. I have a 3 year old daughter and I'm 35 years old. Hubby and I are TFAS. I'm super nervous to try for another because I'm still so damned tired. But nevertheless, here I am! Nice to meet you. Oh I'm CD 27 and about 13dpo (pure guess). I took a few tests earlier in the week and they were BFN. So I'm just waiting for AF.

sammysam, not nosey. It is hard to really put a finger on it. My dad is sick. He might get better with a transplant (if he gets one) but he might not. I'm so thankful that I have siblings to share the experience. My dad's illness highlighted for us our desire to maybe have a bigger family. For me, personally, I probably don't *need* to do this whole thing again, but at the end of the day, we would rather have two kids going forward. The first time around, we felt like somebody was missing and we didn't get pregnant right away. I don't feel like that this time, like somebody is still missing, but maybe if we get further along in the TTC process, that will manifest again. Its confusing. I was ambivalent before but one day I woke up and I was like "I think we should do this." So, here we are.

shellyr That makes perfect sense to me. SO was undecided about a first until his dad got sick. He is the one pushing for a second on our end now. I'm happy with one but the more we try the more invested I become. DD made a comment to SO one day before she had started school that she was scared of school because she was scared of being alone. That even if there were lots of people there, if SO and I weren't there then she would still be alone. Neither of us are young so SO started thinking about what it would be like for her without us...which is why we changed our tune too. I'm sorry to hear about your father. I hope you're doing ok.

Hey ladies! Sorry for being MIA - we've got quite the headache going on right now. I don't remember whether I shared w/ you ladies but the day after Father's Day, a storm came through and broke the top off of a poplar tree and landed in our living room. Fast fwd to now - we JUST got the roof fixed on Friday and the interior work will begin tomorrow, hopefully. Insurance has been dragging its feet, hoping that we'd cave and settle for their low-ball estimate. Anyway, that's been the main stressor in our lives right now - on top of work being super busy for both of us as well. I'm CD 6 6DPO today so keeping my fingers crossed! Happy early Anniversary sweetc129!! That would be an awesome anniversary gift to get your BFP Wed!!! Welcome kam3100 & shellyr!! GL to you both!! sammysam & shellyr - I hear you guys about when parents get sick. We actually contemplated trying for our first before we lost my dad in 2014, but our lives were just such a mess. Betweeen work stress for H and my being an almost full time caregiver for my dad, we were both exhausted when we'd finally see each other. shellyr - sorry to hear about your dad and I'm hoping he gets a transplant. ETA: DPO not CD 😜

agpjt413 That's crazy about the tree! I hope I'm right in assuming that no one was hurt? I can't imagine...we used to have neighbours with about 10 poplar trees on their property not too far from our house and we were constantly worried they would come down onto our house. I hope your insurance gets everything settled properly for you. And Yay to 6DPO. I hope we start seeing people from here get their BFPs! I'm 2 DPO so not too far behind you. I think I'm going to wait until 15 DPO to test this time. If AF isn't here by then then it will definitely be a positive (I always get AF 11 DPO...13 at the most).
