What's for Dinner

Starting this back up, I have to meal plan or we eat out way too much:

Sunday: pulled pork with creamed corn and broccoli
Monday: Breakfast for Dinner
Tuesday: Hot Dogs with cauliflower tots 
Wednesday: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, and  spinach
Thursday: Hamburger Helper with bell peppers
Friday: pizza
Saturday: Chicken parmigiana with spinach and cheesy garlic toast

What's for dinner at your house.

Su: pasta fajoli
M: meeting mh out bc he has late afternoon conferences (The bus stop neighbor just gave me the most beautiful collection of veggies so I’m also going to make a soup so we have it throughout the week.)
Tu: lemon thyme chicken with mushrooms and quinoa
W: turkey and sweet potato chili with cornbread
Th: crock pot beef and peperoncini for sandwiches or over rice and a salad
F: Chinese takeout
Sa: out

Mon - spinach and cheese ravioli with red sauce
Tues- eating on the road to STL
Wed - whatever my mom cooks
Thurs- eating on road home from STL
Fri - tacos
Sat - homemade calzones

Mon: manicotti
Tues: Chicken fajita soup
Wed: me happy hour with friends, probably breakfast for dinner for everyone else
Thurs/Fri: OOT for C's birthday surprise trip!
Sat: C's bday party. Appitizers and pizza

Sun - some fancy beef strips that had to cook for 3 damn hours, with polenta & roasted green beans (I made the damn thing but have no idea what it's actually called)
Mon - muffin tin chicken alfredo biscuit bombs
Tues - on pot creamy shells and sausage
Wed - leftovers
Thurs - H gets to pick for his birthday dinner

That's all I've planned so far.

I've never made them before so I'll tell you how they turn out tonight.  We did a biscuit chicken pot pie thing last week that was pretty good.  It was basically the filling on top of the biscuit in a muffin tin. These are actual balls though.  I'm pretty excited.

Friday: out to eat with friends
Saturday: TBD, probably pizza

Just sent in PM. It's pretty easy, the worst part is peeling and chopping the potatoes. I usually bake them well in advance so they have plenty of time to cool by the time I need to use them; the soup itself actually comes together pretty quickly.

Also, lahdeedah, I would love a recipe for creamy chicken noodle when you get a chance. I feel like you've shared or mentioned that one before and I should've saved the recipe then!

I use the same pot for the noodles and the roux so I’m not using three different pots. After the noodles are done and I drain them, I start the roux.

I decided last night I’m going to start Soup Sunday’s and do a new one each week. This past week was Loaded Potato and I’m going to try the Creamy Chicken Noodle this week.

I think we had a soup recipe thread at one time, I need to do a search for it.

Tim said he was "tired of chicken, we ALWAYS have chicken." (Super dramatic too, felt like I was talking to a teenager ) So he got a lot of ground beef this week.
