For reals. Yesterday I gasped when I realized M’s birthday is two weeks away.

Morning! About to make some coffee. Might go to the cider mill today if it's not too rainy.

Hi. I’m a few days behind here this week. Today is a busy one. I have to go pick out new furniture this morning because a cushion on my loveseat ripped and I have a protection plan but they couldn’t fix it and they no longer make the set. They are replacing my loveseat, couch, and arm chair though so it’s a win. DD and T both have soccer games after that and then DS1 has a hockey game tonight.
Mom fail. We are off this week coming up and T’s birthday is Wednesday. I failed to plan something to do in school and yesterday when I picked him up, he came out in a birthday crown and his teacher had celebrated in class already. We can’t send food though so they recommend reading a story or sending non-food goodie bags. I didn’t really want to do goodie bags because I invited the whole class to his party and they will get them there (or the 6 kids who replied will-I know we have had this conversation plenty of times). He’s perfectly happy though because his 3 best friends from preschool who are in other K classes are all coming, all his cousins are coming, and the kids we know best from his class are coming.

Morning! Hope your cold clears out fast lahdeedah! I went over at 8 to do a shift for the fall carnival (set up). Pretty impressive operation, I think the kids will really enjoy it. So we’ll head over there around lunchtime, then home to watch the FL/GA game. Tmrw we have Disney on Ice. I keep forgetting bc DH is the one who purchased the tickets so I guess he’s getting all the emails, etc. I probably should set an alarm on my phone to remind me 🤦🏻♀️

Currently at gymnastics, then we'll zip over to melaniesue's M's birthday party. After that we'll head to the toy store for cat figures for Cadence's bday cupcakes and look for other possible party favors. This evening we have swim and tomorrow we have....NOTHING!!!! I'm so excited for a day of nothing!

We are having a relaxing Saturday here. Just had bagels and just getting things done around the house. We need to try a bottle for k and I want to try the rowing machine. Also want to book something for J's bday party, his choices are a bounce place or duck pin bowling..

Morning! Since I didn’t get my nap yesterday afternoon I ended up going to bed super early so DH and the girls went to the Halloween party without me. Today will be a low key, clean the house and nap day. Tonight my niece is watching the girls because we have the real Halloween party. My friend is bringing her nb and I’m excited to snuggle him. I’m bringing a couple of things so I need to make them this afternoon, although they are both pretty easy.

Morning! Evie had a birthday party for a girl in her class this afternoon. I have no idea if parents are supposed to stay or not, so I'm taking her and leaving H home. If I can leave, I'll go get groceries. H leaves tomorrow for colorado for the week so just a lazy morning here.

A is with the ferrier getting my girls feet done. Misty needs hers done like once a year. Stormy grows at an insane rate though. Shes way past due..
Then we're going to buy the pantry cabinet for the garage. Alex is insulating it this weekend and may get to dry wall. One wall is done, where the cabinet is going. Because it attaches to the house and had to be done for fire code. So he just has 2 walls to do.

Morning.
Hello from my regular Saturday location of the soccer stands. I’ve got to take J to party city later so she can pick her theme for her at home birthday dinner on Friday and get her cake ordered, I’m hoping to also get all B’s loot bags figured out and put together this weekend. Between his birthday party booking yesterday and todays purchases, good bye monies.

To every rsvp I get I always reply with a ‘ Hello! Thanks so much for the rsvp and I’m so happy that he’ll be joining us! Can’t wait to meet you and him then. In order to reply to the location for final numbers I’ll need to know if you’ll be staying as well? Either way works for me, I’m leaving it up to the parents if they’d like to stay. Thanks!’ How hard is that?

I’m sitting behind this guy and his mother, he’s holding a baby, about 5 months old. His friend comes and sits next to time, probably early 40’s, and immediately he puts his arms out and he says ‘can I hold him, I love babies’.
I think I just fell in love with a stranger, lol

Picked up ds’ mookie cupcakes, finished his Boston cake & bought some really nice flowers to spruce up the house, so I’m mostly done for tomorrow. Currently I’m in a bus to Amsterdam to go out to dinner with my two sister, appropriately at a place called Oslo bar. I’m old school and brought a book . When do you ever get to read quietly these days?!

It's just far enough away that I wouldn't come home, but I'm not really sure what I'll spend 2 hours doing if we dont need to stay.

Nothing like spending the entire morning with the kid doing classes, paries and errands to come home to an h bitching about money. He apparently has none and wants to blame it on me. Uh, no. You're the one that spent 500+ dollars on an amp you didn't need. He can just shove it as far as I'm concerned. My entire paycheck goes to bills and Cadence's extracurriculars.

Morning!
Just did our Costco run and the little ones are down for nap. Dude is building a pretty impressive castle with his Magnatiles.
I should be cleaning, but I’m really wiped out and will probably try to tip over on the couch and rest for a bit.
X is doing so awesome lately. His speech gets more clear each day, his frustration level is decreasing, he’s using full sentences. It’s very encouraging to see how much progress he’s making in such a short amount of time. At his Halloween party the other day, his aides and therapists kept coming up and telling me how much they enjoy working with him because he’s always so happy. IDK where he gets it, but I do know I want to be just like him when I grow up.

We just acquired another child for the weekend. Dude’s BFF is moving and his mom needs him out of the way for packing so he’s going to hang out here until tomorrow afternoon.

We've had super horrible behavior. It keia escalating. Last night was hitting and kicking both of us. He's never done this before. He can't calm himself down once he gets frustrated. I think he has molars coming in that decrease his threshold and he's tired. This morning I saw bags under his eyes. I'm letting him nap for however long this afternoon. When he's calm he knows he was being a shit and wants to do better. Be created a behavior reward system where he has to get 6 good days to get a reward and 6 bad days for a large punishment. We're trying to get away from our immediate punishments that end up escalating the bad situation. I feel like this is the same thing I write the last few times.

mwhip I dropped of E at a party this morning for the first time. I doesn't even think about it until I walked in but I knew the parents well and I knew he would be fine with his friends. I got my nails done and came back just in time. For E's party next week we only invited 5 kids. It is here arty the house playing and "watching a movie". I specified drop off. I only chose kids that could stay/I wanted without parents

wedding thank you for the Pokemon recommendation on the gift thread - my nephew just called thrilled with my selection, he's never been so chatty or sweet to me! And my sister clearly is as clueless as me, she thought I got him a board game, but I think it was just a set of GX cards. Definitely earned some cool aunt points! Also praying J doesn't get into it, as it is too confusing for me.
