And I have internet & cable! We were in the schedule for Saturday but my coworkers husband made it happen today.
Can I get a hallelujah?

mwhip , our school "requests" that we pick the kids up and feed them lunch at home to get them in their costumes, then bring them back after lunch for the parade. I think it's a mistake but I reached out to the teacher and she said that almost all the kids go home so I don't want S to be the only one left. Then they have the party after the parade, and I have to scoot across town (my town is tiny so this is a 2 minute drive)to watch B's parade so I'm not sure how it will all work timing wise. I wish I could just take him with me. Oh well. That all seems very inconvenient for the parents. If that were the case at our school I would just be like, sorry, Cadence is staying, here's her lunch and her costume.

My costume for the party this weekend just came and it is so freaking cute. I’m excited! I’ll share pics on Saturday evening when I’m ready for the party. jewels that’s dumb that they want you to do all of that. H’s teacher sent an email saying the kids need to be able to get their costumes on themselves. I also can’t attend the parade or party because little sibs aren’t allowed and I’ll have S.

Hi! I worked at 230 this morning. Went to the Apple store to get my new phone, spoiler alert, I didn’t get it. Now I’m playing catch-up on homework. I accidentally did the assignment that’s due on Sunday today so now I’m working on today’s assignment. So I think they are trying to test us on reading the whole weeks worth of work and prioritizing because the assignment that’s due at the end of the week was 3rd and the assignment due today was last. 🤷♀️
We paint pumpkins, I don’t like carving and C isn’t home much when LO is home so we paint.

Month end type of important positions. I'm lucky I can take off whenever I want, I dont need the school dictating whay my work schedule needs to be.

Charlie has a costume party at school tomorrow from 10-12. He’s wearing an old Spiderman costume. Josie’s party is from 2-3, and she’ll be i. her costume all day. I wanted her to wear her witch costume from last year and she agreed, but told everyone today she will be supergirl, so I fully expect lunch on her sleeves, markers on her torso, and a tear in the tulle skirt before she gets home. Girl is rough on her clothes at school.

Finished my homework. I don’t like being rushed. To celebrate I ate 2 cookies quickly before C arrives with both kids.

I am ambivalent about carving pumpkins but B is super excited, so guess I will be out there tomorrow hacking into one. I bought an extra so I can maintain my nice porch display a little longer It's supposed to be 80 here tomorrow, I feel like I am back home! C has trunk-or-treat in the a.m.; 3s and 4's wear costumes but they asked that the toddlers and 2's classes just wear 'festive attire'--win! As part of Red Ribbon week the elementary kids can wear Halloween shirts, etc. to "say 'Boo!' to bad choices, LOL. Both kids' classes will have Halloween parties tomorrow, I have already sent in my contributions so I am off the hook.

M’s school doesn’t even do Halloween. They can’t wear their costume to school and they don’t have a party. They are doing glow games (the whole asking for a black light thing) so I’m supposed to send him to school in a white or neon shirt. Not complaining. They will trick or treat at after school.
M2’s teacher said I can send him in his costume. Lol nope. He will wear a Halloween shirt to be festive.

sands42 I love your house! Awkward moment today. I was waiting at DS’s therapist and a man I knew came in but he clearly didn’t recognize me and he was telling me all about his son and his dog (who I also know). I was debating whether or not to tell him we actually know each other and in walked his son who recognized me immediately and called me by name. I took off tomorrow morning for the kid’s parade. It’s suppose to rain so they will do it inside one grade at a time. Hoping to have a breakfast date with DH before I go to work. Then I just have Friday and we are off all next week. Of course DH has a trip. For a hot minute I was considering flying out with all the kids by myself and meeting him for a few days but I couldn’t find a resort with the right size room with availability. Who knew so many people traveled in November? I have asked several babysitters if they were available so I could treat myself to a spa day but no luck so far. I’m tempted to try a new sitter off the neighborhood app but I don’t want to ruin my spa time worrying about a new sitter.

I managed to break my stroller the first time using it with the seat and not the infant rack. 45 minutes on the phone with graco and they no longer make parts for mine since it's so old- I bought it second hand. But she sent me a $40 rebate for any graco product. So new stroller will be here Tuesday. It's the new version of the one I have. Hopefully I love it as much as I do mine.

We have pumpkins we were going to carve but the squirrels started eating them. I cannot stand the inside of a pumpkin, like it makes me gag to clean one out and I’m not usually grossed out by things except for teeth.

But if you were already planning on going I hope the timing all works out.

sands42 , lol I'm curious about what this kin business is too! Congrats on the new house! Morning ladies, last night was pumpkin carving. Charlee was HERE FOR IT! She thought it was the greatest thing. Such a difference from Layla's first year when she would cry just looking at an uncarved pumpkin. This is Poppy with the pumpkins, too. I don’t get it.
