It looks like something out of a movie I swear. I'm glad no one was badly hurt.

“Looking at who @realdonaldtrump brought to the game last night, I noticed that at least 5 of the members who illegally stormed the intel committee room were there. Isn't that a little more important than debating the lock him up chant?”

Gen. Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, tells reporters he doesn't know where Trump got his information that Baghdadi was "whimpering and crying" when he died. "I don't know what the source of that was."

"I don't know what the source of that was." I have so many thoughts about Trump's glee at the "whimpering and crying." Whether true or not, to take delight in much less brag about a man's terror as he is about to die, whoever that man may be, is disturbing.

Wow. This is certainly an effective way to run a woman out of office. (Not to excuse the mistakes she made and rules she possibly broke - just jeesh, this is sick) This whole thing is such a ridiculous double standard and it makes me SO angry that sex is still such an effective tool to shame and silence women. FUCK. Not saying that she is an angel and everything she did was appropriate. This just seems like an unbalanced reaction and it makes me feel a way.

Some of the spin I heard was that 'he was trying to portray him a weak and a coward at the end as to not cement his place as a martyr.'
I'm not necessarily in agreement with the spin, but I understand the reasoning behind it somewhat.
I personally think the entirety of his statements were abhorrent. Regardless of whether or not he needed to be taken out, it was still a human being and I would hope that I never get to a point where I revel in another humans death to that extent.

I am having to update some security registrations on a gov't website for work. One of my security question options is "where were you when you first heard about 9/11?"
What. The. Hell.

Oh, you forgot your password? Let's make you potentially relive trauma. People lost people that day. That being an option is fucked up.

Jesus Some journalists knew about the raid targeting al-Baghdadi as it was happening, but did not report the info until U.S. forces were out of harms' way. t.co/kKDIJEzHHg

Its not that I care, I found it funny they were protecting the dogs identity. This. It's crazy. It's actually not. The Special Forces dogs live with families whose identities are classified. OpSec requires that only their handlers be able to call them, for several reasons. (Genuinely not snarking, just trying to explain)

But I doubt that dog is gonna be able to 'serve' after this, and shouldn't he should be able to retire with a big old bone.

Actually reporting today suggests the dog has returned to service!
