We got home from the eye doctor a little bit ago and miss H needs glasses. She’s farsighted so it’ll help with her reading and other up close things. She picked out some cute dark purple frames. Also, when I picked her up at school I noticed that her cheeks were rosy. She kept wanting to close her eyes when the eye doctor was out of the room and felt warm to the touch. Checked her temp and sure enough, it’s 102. Poor kiddo probably felt sick all day at school. Must be something in the air. I had to pick S up around 11 because she’s got a fever too. I hope S is feeling better quickly! |

Ugh, sickness brings out the seizures...she slept from 12:30–4:30. Just laid around after that and began having seizures about 45 minutes ago. She had a cluster of probably 12-13. Then went into an extended seizure lasting about 15 minutes followed by more clustering. I gave 1 rescue med, waiting to hear back from the neuro on call to determine if I need to give the other rescue med.

Greys anatomy tonight has Zola getting a shunt revision surgery. That is what Sierra has had many of. Quoting myself because as I’m watching it is soooo not realistic. No way she’d be that alert and with it with pressure on the brain requiring a shunt revision. |

oh gosh lfig, sorry for the rough night for S. I hope she can get some good rest tonight and feels better in the a.m. FX you hear back from the neuro soon. Hope H feels better soon trtlcrzy, poor girl. She will be adorable with glasses, can't wait to see them  |

The rescue med finally kicked in before I had to give the 2nd. And the seizures stopped. She is now resting in bed, hopefully for the night.

I took all 4 kids for flu shots alone after school. Oldest and youngest were fine, the middle two were a disaster. DD tried to yank her arm away which resulted in blood dripping everywhere. T grabbed the doorframe to the exam room and wouldn’t come inside.
Good news was DD’s MRI came back clear.
Tomorrow DH is working from home and we are having a lunch date during my lunch. I feel like we never see each other. Tomorrow night is trunk or treat at the middle kid’s school.
