That does not sound like fun. Well... I really needed to do some other stuff, but I had zero interest doing in that. I did undo 12 months of WW in two hours 😂😂😂, I don’t think I ate this much candy since I was 10 or something. FX you don't get sick!

Hi!
I’m home having some lunch; C is at stay and play today so I have a little extra time to myself. Chili is in the crock pot and I have one bathroom cleaned—needless to say, it’s a pretty exciting day around here 😉

Ugh lahdeedah, sorry about the axle. I hate car maintenance. Do you have any ideas for what you’d want to replace your current car with? Happy birthday to M! inthekittyjewels how have people been with RSVPs, etc? B was invited to his first ‘class’ party this weekend so I’m interested to see how it goes. I talked to another mom this morning and learned the birthday boy is a twin, so his sister’s K class is also invited (joint party). 36 kids 😳 I’m hoping I can gauge turn-out for ours based on this. We plan to invite the whole class, and B has added a couple friends from the bus/preschool, so I think all said it’ll be 20-25 invites.

flamingo I just emailed it out about 2 hours ago, so I don't have too many. I have gotten 4 RSVPs so far. And 3 of them are our friends. I'll let you know how it goes.

Just got my flu shot. YOu would think with all the allergy shots I would be used to a needle in my arm. Nope.

PSA: if anyone needs kids winter coats, Gap has a bunch on special today as part of their ‘mystery deals’. Really good prices.

I chuckled a bit, but it’s sad this is what moms have to resort to so they can find a sliver of free time. It reminded me of an article I read about a woman who felt like she needed to find more room for herself in her busy schedule with a job, husband, kids, etc. She hired a time tracking/time management coach and after reading her journal of activities for the week he actually included her scheduled root canal as “free time.” Lol to a root canal for free time. I just thought “leave it to a man.” No way a mom would say that to another mom.

My dad said he thinks it can be fixed for about $300-$400. Not bad, but considering I just ordered tires, and will need a few other things done, I am not wanting to put $800+ into my car just to sell it for a couple hundred bucks more this spring. Thinking I will cancel the tires now. flamingo I have a short list, but I decided to stop at Acura on my way home earlier and I’m pretty sure I want the MDX. I tested a Q5 a couple months ago and it was ok. I’ve been wanting an RX for years now, but I’ve kinda let it go.

DH is planning to get a new vehicle when we move; he just put new tires on his current truck and I am praying nothing goes wrong with it b/n now and then I love the MDX. My mom has had one for years and is about to replace it with another one (maaaaybe the RDX if she decides she wants a bit smaller). It has been such a good vehicle. My dream is the GX but I want to wait til my kids are older and/or driving themselves so it won't get destroyed.

MH and I had lunch with Maddie at school. She was thrilled and it's nice she still enjoys having us around her friends and is not embarrassed.

We got home from the eye doctor a little bit ago and miss H needs glasses. She’s farsighted so it’ll help with her reading and other up close things. She picked out some cute dark purple frames. Also, when I picked her up at school I noticed that her cheeks were rosy. She kept wanting to close her eyes when the eye doctor was out of the room and felt warm to the touch. Checked her temp and sure enough, it’s 102. Poor kiddo probably felt sick all day at school.

I was willing to settle for the RX, but the GX is what I would get if money wasn’t an issue. I drove the RDX, too. I like it, but I think the MDX is a better fit for me now with the kids and traveling.

Yes the GX is for when we’re #deltarich (ha) I agree about the MDX, it is definitely the size I would go for at this phase of life ETA: annnd now I’m getting SUV ads on FB

I'm beat. I went and got my new license, thankfully they are pretty quick if you make an appointment, I was in and out within 20 min. Then has CFA for lunch and I swear a staff member was using the handicap stall and playing on her phone for a solid 10 min based on feet (I thought it was a mom with a kid going...but no kid ever came out). I eventually left the stroller near the sink and went in the regular stall...and then came out to a car too close so I had to back the car out to get the car seat in. And then a Target run to get GF bagels, which they don't sell at that Target and Halloween decorations, which was comically picked over.. of course tomorrow is bagel Friday, so need to fetch some still.

Plus I don’t think she’ll be feeling better in the morning. She fell asleep on the way home and then stayed sleeping until DH woke her at 7 to eat something and now she’s already asking to go back to bed.
