For his birthday I got him a football play set- like little guys and a felt field. A Pokémon set he wanted and The Year in Sports 2019 book. My parents got him an Edelman Jersey and some other Patriots gear. He is obsessed with all things Patriots and football.
For Christmas he has asked for
a foosball table. We don’t have the space.
Patriots backpack
Swivel hard case luggage. He said he’s too old for the turtle luggage he has.
We got him a Sports Illustrated kids subscription
He asked for the Hot Wheels Garage but it’s so expensive and big enough that it would have to be in the basement. He played with the Hot Wheels set I got him last year for two days.

Beyblade carrier case
There’s other stuff he circled in the Target catalog but he’s not getting. Nintendo Switch. He is a real turd when he plays video games.
I’ll probably get him tickets to a college football game. And some gift cards.

M dislikes jeans, too. Soft pants are his MO. He hates when I make him wear jeans on the weekends.

No but we’ve been considering it I saw that on Target’s ad a few weeks ago when they were doing a toy sale. I want to check it out in store, but I don’t think he will play with it much due to him already having the iPad. He might like it for longer car rides. |

For B’s bday I usually end up giving all my ideas to the grandparents 😒 -turbie twists (she really likes when I put my hair in a towel and she wants to do it too but our towels are too big and heavy for her little head) -comfy Disney Princess dolls (the ones from Ralph Breaks the internet) -REAL jeans, ie not leggings -my dad ordered a subscription to Highlights for her that starts in Dec -Polaroid camera Ooo E would love a hair towel. I'll put that on the Christmas list |

If your kids want to color their hair I recommend the clay/ wax colors. They go on damp or dry hair and don't bleed and wash out. They don't absorb into the hair, just sit on top. C also has a diary @sunny. He can’t read and spell but he says he’s put stuff in there and it’s his business so I can’t look at it. I wouldn’t anyway since my brother always read mine 😾

Now he has 2 pair- a dark wash and lighter wash and call it good. Good thing is they are all in great shape so M2 will get to wear them all hopefully. |

S was obsessed with Jeans since we got him a belt earlier this year. So I bought him a handful of pairs. Now he says he doesn't like them and gets upset if he wears them. He prefers sweatpants (of course) and regular pants (like khakis).

I got J these on a super sale thinking they'd be a bit like the target ones and they were way too big and he wasn't a fan. I will try washing a pair and if they don't work, maybe I'll mail them to you! |

Then we were like, is this an interest we had no idea she had??? Let's get them, maybe she actually loves them and we haven't provided for her hobby. Yeah, nope. She only likes legos at school, not at home. Also, she only wants to make what is shown in the book and she wants you to make it for her. She gets frustrated when she tries it herself. |

Madison is obsessed with Legos. As soon as she gets a new set she can hardly wait to go start building. I got her the Simpsons Lego house. There is an incredibly awesome Stranger Things set that was tempting as well.

1) Last night S went through the Target catalog. Circled approximately half of the catalog, and put a "B" next to things he thinks his brother might like.
2) for the past 2 years all S has wanted has been Legos and Star Wars. Now he says he doesn't like those things. We have approximately 100 lego sets (no exaggeration) and I loved them b/c they were a great project for rainy or cold weekends when we were cooped up inside. Now he wants everything Pokemon/Beyblade/ninja.

Oh! Those who's kids video game... do they just do it on the ipad or whatever, or do you have a gaming system for them? S circled a ton of gaming things in the catalog and MH and I are not gamers, at all. Should we just download games to the ipad? Or is there a better system we should get for him?
Due to the abovementioned recent changes in his preferences, I do not want to spend too much on anything for fear his preferences will change.
