S And B have the wonderbly book kid that lost his name and they both love it. It's become my go to 1st birthday gift. I saw the sticker book when I was buying one this afternoon for my cousin's kid and had to buy it.

flamingo I definitely say forget the balance bike and just get a regular bike for her. She is taller and will outgrow it, if she hasn’t already. Thanks! This was my thought as well, then DH threw the balance bike idea out there and I was like, well hmm, maybe I need to reconsider. Moral of the story: do not let DH research Santa gifts

We got L a balance bike this past spring right about when she turned 3 and she seemed a bit too big for it. She's a tad on the tall side but not nearly as much as your C. We will be getting her a regular bike for her birthday!

So! Balance Bike. C has had a classic Radio Flyer trike that was passed down from B. She can ride reasonably well on it but it's heavy and a bit cumbersome. We've been debating getting her a small bicycle or balance bike. We never did the balance bike with B, he went straight to a regular bike with training wheels and has done fine. She is 41" tall, so I wonder if balance bikes are going to be physically too small for her (is that even possible?) I feel like the kids I've typically seen on them are either younger, or very tiny (or both). Anyone here have experience with balance bikes? I've read about them online and it seems like people loooooooove them, but I'd appreciate any first-hand recs/thoughts. If she’s already able to pedal on the trike then I’d personally skip the balance bike.

We have the Girl Who Lost Her Name book. It's one of Cadence's favorites, probably because it's her name.

jewels C had a three wheel micro mini scooter and now has a razor 2 wheel. The three wheel provides more balance and a wider foot area and also goes a bit slower so that may be a good place to start. C also wanted a hover board and a Nintendo Switch. I mixed both. The hover board is too dangerous in my opinion and he doesn’t need more screen time.

I’m done with C except stocking stuffers. Here is what he is getting from us Patriots backpack Bunk bed book shelf Clip on light for bunk bed Hot wheels super ultimate garage Monster Jam grim takedown play set 2020 Patriots calendar Karate punching pad Karate gear bag Sled A couple of things I’m passing into grandparents - table top air hockey or foosball - beyblade carrier - he wants the Vtech Kidszoom Smart Watch. I don’t live it so I’m not sure. I do like the Garmin Vivofit Jr. Does anyone have experience with either? I got his cousin who is the same age this Spirit toy today. It was $7 less than Target at BJ’s wholesale club

What punching bag wedding? M wants one. Unless you're just getting something like an air bag, I'd recommend against getting a punching bag without martial arts training. In class they teach the kids how to kick/hit in ways to minimize injury.

flamingo wineallthetime tallb vino nam2013 and I am trying to think who else has a 3 y/o girl - I need a good idea for a birthday gift for a little girl turning 3 next week. $20-30 or a little more for the perfect gift is fine. She loves all the girly stuff, but also plays with a lot of her brother's toys. (this is one of S bestie's little sisters).

Lue is OBSESSED and I just got some for my 2 and 4y/o nieces and they're so into it! The kind that's purely pretend and doesn't actually work, so no mess.

jewels I'd plus-one any of what the girls above said. C doesn't have a Baby Alive but we did get her a Bitty Baby from American Girl--she loves all things baby dolls. Target has a line of baby doll stuff that is very cute. Arts and crafts are popular here, C also loves Play-Doh and the various kits. Dress-up...crowns, shoes, etc...any of the Disney princess stuff from Target or similar. C got this mermaid barbie for her bday and is obsessed. It's her first Barbie doll...it can go in the tub, too. www.target.com/p/barbie-dreamtopia-sparkle-lights-mermaid/-/A-75569002 My sister paired it with a Mermaid Snuggie Tail (also from Target) and it was a huge hit. (it's actually pink, not red) www.target.com/p/ombre-mermaid-tail-blanket-pillowfort/-/A-54567718?preselect=76375184#lnk=sametab Pottery Barn Kids has Green Toys brand tea-set and cupcake serving set that are both super cute; C got the teaset for bday and I'm doing cupcakes for Xmas. I'm sure you could find those on Amazon, too. I love the Green Toys quality and simplicity...kind of Melissa & Doug-esque.

Keep in mind with Baby Alive, (assuming you get the original) only comes with 2 diapers and 2 packets of food. I would at least by a pack of extra diapers because even though the food packets may be gone, you can still give it water to drink and it just comes straight out.

I remember one Christmas my (then childless) aunt gave my sister got a baby doll that cried...it was motion activated or something. So obnoxious. My dad removed the batteries within 24 hours.

Haha dd got a doll like that... you couldn’t remove the battery without wrecking the doll (it was one of those soft body ones, the sound thing was sewn inside). The doll mysteriously got lost .

Y'all know there are baby alive dolls out there that you don't feed or anything, right? Yes, we have a non feeding baby alive and one you can give water to. H has only given her baby alive water like 4 times total since last Christmas. We, and multiple friends, have and love this baby as well. Check out this item at Target www.target.com/p/baby-alive-luv-n-snuggle-baby-doll-blonde/-/A-53345064
