I read this horrifying book to my kids in which a girl is jealous her brother lost a tooth so she paints a kernel of corn. She and her brother are whisked off to tooth fairy land and his tooth is clean and goes to the Hall of Perfect teeth. Her "tooth" is dirty so robots take it to be cleaned, discover it's a fake, and chase the kids.

So I remind them if they don't brush well, when they loose their teeth the robots will come after them instead of their tooth going to the Hall of Perfect Teeth.

$1 from the tooth fairy. We're not doing the $20 thing over here. I know someone who's extended family donates to the tooth fairy cause and her kid got $200 for one tooth. Insane.

@klongoria didn’t you make a felt pouch for your kid? I want to make something like that for ds, did you use a pattern?

I made a little pouch that looks like a tooth. I just took some white felt and cut it out to look like a tooth and sewed  little eyes and a mouth on it. The tooth fairy kept it after the first tooth and brings it back when shes about to lose another one.
