Turns out I don’t know many DMB songs. The show was good though. What was super weird is that tons of people showed up like 2 hours late.

Oh also, while I was at the concert DH text me that H cracked her head open. She has a big gouge on her head right inside the hairline. Apparently she was spinning around, fell and hit the stair banister. He took her to acute care and they glued it shut.

Mh used to go to a lot of DMB shows back in the day and would always miss the opening act bc if tailgating. He missed Norah Jones, David Grey, and several other huge acts before they took became big deals 🤦 he recognizes that this is ridiculous at least. Hope H is okay and it doesn't scar. |

I really don’t know. Grace potter was the opening act, she played from 6:45-7:30. DMB started at like 8 or just after and these people didn’t show up until 2 songs in. It was a lot of people too. I didn’t notice anything happening in the parking lot when we got there. |

Longest day inside. I saw on IG that you could double stack sale codes at J.Crew and essentially get 55% off stuff (bundleup and theskimm) and picked up a new puffy coat in olive to replace my black long puffer that I have worn for the past 5 years at least. And I got some suede loafers for fun. I made the mistake of asking if mh wanted anything..so he got a bunch too.
And I got my niece some unicorn slippers that are ridiculous, but my sis said anything unicorn. She had her gymnastics party yesterday and had a rainbow unicorn leotard on, and somehow wore it backwards without her parents realizing it😂

inthekitty BMI scales are bullshit. You are not overweight, you are incredibly healthy! I'm sorry you are dealing with that, it's no wonder people have body image issues with the standards we have in place that don't account for variations. trtlcrzy I hope H is okay! Poor thing.

I really appreciate all the support. I try to still be as healthy as I can but whenever I have to be taped I do things to slim down I'd cringe if my girls ever felt the need to do. It makes me really angry. To further that anger, the standards for men are so much more lax. Whenever there's a large group of people who need to be taped it's usually 2-3 clearly obese men (who somehow pass tape) and 20 athletically built women. 😤
