M is going on her first field trip today to see a play. She's super excited to ride the bus. All of the kindergarten classes got t-shirts made. Each class is a different color and they have the teacher's name on the back. It was so cute to see all of them with their shirts on this morning.

H is in Montana, E has half day of school today for parent teacher conferences and no school tomorrow and Friday. So she is staying with grandparents tonight. I think I'm going to sign up to take a yoga class then just relax at home by myself.

It is not even four and I’m beat. Schoolrun groceries, friend over for coffee, my mom over for coffee & sewing 25 mini felt baseballs, then school again, hairdressers for both kids, made a pumpkin soup, a banana bread and ds has a play date. I’m having a period from hell and a sore throat. As soon as dh walks in he can take over and im going to take a bath!

L's school is doing a "Take your parent to P.E." day, so I'm off to go run around with my kid for an hour. Happy hump day! This sounds like fun! |

Morning. I finally get a day at home by myself. Too bad I didn’t get much done yesterday, so today will be spent doing house work. The play date was fun. The boys had a blast and the mom was nice. I can see us doing more in the future. Anybody need a 20% coupon for Ulta- good on prestige brands, too. They sent me one and one for a friend. I’ll pm the code/coupon. I finally ordered my snail essence tgrimes. |

Just got home from speech and a CFA pit-stop for breakfast. It's rainy here today and a front is moving in so I'm glad we don't have major plans once I get B out the door.
I think I'm coming down with a cold, so I'm going to go chug some EmergenC and see if I can ward it off.

Morning. N is off school for fall break the rest of the week so it’s my first day home with all 3. Dh started my day off on the wrong foot by not giving the kids breakfast again while he was just sitting around before leaving for work. Ugh. So now I’m crabby. And I just remembered a friend is coming over to visit in a bit and I’m not in the mood. I should probably make some coffee

Got out of hte shower this morning and mh was just sitting on the bed. I asked where Cadence was. "She won't come out of her room. She's playing with her dolls."
Me: I don't have time for this.
Him: Me either.
.....uh, you don't get up for work until like 9. You have all the time in the world for this shit. All you're about to do is go back to bed. I have to get to work.
So annoying. Sooooooo freaking annoying. Then I had to deal with the child who didn't want to go to school, she just wanted to stay home and play. Sorry kid, not an option.

Hi!
I am taking off tomorrow to go on a field trip with B class. B is one of only 2 kids in his class that are not potty trained yet, and you have to be potty trained to go on the field trips without a chaperone. The teacher told MH that he would be the only kid in his class not going on the field trip unless one of us went. Way to make us feel guilty. So I'm going. I am not looking forward to being on a trip with a bunch of 3-5 year olds, and especially not looking forward to the school bus ride. Also, all the kids and parents I know at the school graduated with S so I won't know any of the chaperones, or most of the kids.
So... should be interesting.

I was up late working, cleaning, meal planning and making my grocery list. Then Mallory was up for an hour motn. So not like her. I'm exhausted. I had the kids loaded in the car to do a grocery run and realized I didnt do Matthew's homework last night. So I unloaded them. Now that's done but I don't have time before I have to feed lunch and get him on the bus. So we'll go after he's on the bus.

It's finally raining! We need it so much. I opted to keep N home bc I didn't feel like managing heavier traffic and umbrellas and the baby seat. I feel like I have so much more time! Now working on thank you notes and hoping to get the rest of the clothes sorted. If we are feeling ambitious I may try to bake my lactation cookies..

Hey. I went with MIL to look at flooring while S was at school. That woman is confusing, she wants texture and movement but doesn’t want the floors to look busy. Plus it has to go with her honey oak. I think we have a few contenders but we will see what she ends up picking. Then I went and got my flu shot at work. Now my right shoulder is going to bother me for the next 2 days, oh well. Sassy S is laying in her room for a nap and I’m going to start working on painting another wall. Sorry they are basically forcing you to chaperone jewels. Hopefully it will all be fine and you’ll have a good time. |
