I hate the tax debate. HATE. Y’all, taxes pay for allll the things. We are never going to win by promising that you won’t have to pay them. I would rather they focus on what you *get* for those dollars.

Beto just interrupted. It was Castro's turn.
But damn, if Liz isn't capable of responding to all of their attacks well.

I’ve gotten into the Halloween candy. Snickers Crisper might be my new favorite.

Liz is just......I truly feel like she is the only candidate up there who understands fully what middle class families are dealing with. I don’t get that from any of the other candidates. It’s no wonder she is soaring in the polls and everyone is up her ass tonight.

I need to start bringing talking points and notecards wherever I go. We are having food after volleyball and the debate is on TV at the bar. One of my teammates went off about how much 45 has done for the black community and I just almost died. I just get so jumbled when faced when confrontation and my anxiety hits like woah.
Time to catch up.

bunnyfungo, you are so so right. Let's talk about HOW our tax dollars are spent. I dont need you to tell me I'll pay less in taxes, I need you to tell me my tax dollars will enrich our schools and not Deloitte. I need you to tell me my tax dollars will help lift families out of poverty and not line the pockets of millionaires and billionaires in the form of ridiculous tax cuts. Just once, I'd like to see a debate moderator ask a single question along that line.

Booker is here to tell everyone to play nice. Since we kind of back-to-back posted, I’ll just say that it really resonated with me that he said there is one chance to beat Trump. I really enjoy the tweets, videos, etc of this group complimenting each other and think it will help in the end when only one is chosen. I could be wrong. Not that I don’t want faults pointed out. But not ugliness. If that makes sense.

There’s a Freedom from Religion foundation? Who knew? It is interesting when a commercial ends with “not afraid of burning in hell” 😂😂

Preachhhhhh Booker. I am here for playing nice. Let’s not tear each other down. Let’s talk about the merits of individual plans, without focusing on the “failings” of others.

That’s 20 steps and around the corner down from the “look at the stock market” fools.

She comes across as genuine and I feel she has the record to back it up. I always go back to though that I will literally take anyone on that stage except Tulsi. I just don’t find myself connecting with these candidates very much. I’m frustrated. But yes, I do feel Warren is best suited to talk to the middle class about the economy and her many plans and how we can benefit from it. I say that because it’s her body of work. That’s what I mean.

If it’s allocated correctly. That would appeal to fiscal conservatives too, I would hope (but won’t hold my breath).

Ok. That’s different than what you said. I’m not arguing your feelings but saying that Liz is the only one is different than your response.

And also what a fucking train wreck the other side is. This drives me INSANE with health care. They need to hit the GOP so fucking hard instead of bitching at each other about M4A.

People like to complain about failing schools and crumbling infrastructure but then don't want to pay anything to fix it.

I’m sure it was something he planned to work in ahead of time. But I agree with the sentiment.
