ok. I was able to remember where the party was that she got it. So I went to their site and found it. It's called a "tinsel pom pom shaker"...which is basically a pom pom on a stick. Google, fix you searcher because I googled pom pom on a stick and that's not what I got!

Hey. I have spent most of my day decluttering and doing laundry. I really should mop but I am not that motivated. I may paint another wall. I told H that her friend could come to our house after school and then I work this evening. So, pretty average day.

It would have been really nice to not have to get out of the house in a downpour, but M wants to be all social and what not. Let’s hope his mom is cool cuz I could use a real life mom friend around here.
We’re at the children’s museum waiting for them now.

tallb I hope you get the results quickly and it's nothing! I just got back to work from lunch. I had an email from Evie's teacher at 12:19, it's 1:12, saying Evie has been complaining her tummy hurts and been going to the bathroom a lot. She wasn't sure if it was diarrhea or previous issues related. I feel like someone should have just called me? I responded and asked if she needed to leave, I could have my mom come pick her up immediately. I'm getting ready to go into a meeting. I'm annoyed she didn't just call me or have the nurse call me.

Doctor appt was fine, I was the youngest patient in there by approx 40 years which is simultaneously terrifying and...well mostly just terrifying.
Meanwhile, I *finally* got a reply from the PM re: our broken garbage disposal (that mH ended up fixing himself). It’s been 2 weeks since we initially reported it. She says, ‘I never received a bill from the plumber, has this been resolved?’
I replied, ‘I’m confused as to why you’d expect a bill, considering this is the first anyone from your office has contacted us about this issue, and we never heard from a plumber.’
Shocker: they haven’t responded.

Hi ladies. Work is getting ridiculous. I’m sick and tired of constantly having my actions questioned by people who know nothing about it! Luckily my boss is in my court. I spend the evening cutting out 26 baseball mitts for ds’ birthday treats. My fingers hurt. And I’m on my period and we do not have chocolate in the house. This day can shove it.

Hi girls.
My arm/elbow/should/wrist have been killing me and I’ve been very unproductive.
Tonight is my first meeting for the California Health Advisory Committee. Should be interesting. I’m hopeful none of the weirdos opposing the updates to the sex Ed curriculum are going.

tallb, I hope it's nothing. How long until you get the results? I think a week? By the time she was telling me, I was trying to get dressed and pick up a screaming baby, so I didn't actually listen. I do know that if I need the surgery to remove it, she will call me, otherwise a nurse will. I am glad we have family pictures in 2 weekends and not this weekend at least!

mamabear I’m sorry it’s been tough. As someone who always felt like I wasn’t a big poster here, and went through a really tough time earlier this year, I can say that talking about it here helped me more than I ever thought it would. So please don’t hold back if you think we can help or if you think it might help to get things off your chest. I’m forever grateful for some of the ladies here who helped me more than they probably know.

I just parked at work. I have to train again this week but that’s fine. I’m hoping I can get her comfortable with at least the most important things before she’s on her own on Friday.

B's first loose tooth finally came out. It's been almost 2 months, I'm kind of shocked it held on that long. Thankfully DH got cash out today so the Tooth Fairy doesn't have to raid a piggy bank, LOL. C's response when she looked at B's mouth: "Oh no." I think she thought he was in trouble I have learned through all this that I would never have made it in dentistry. :shudder:

Hi all, It's been a tough couple of weeks. I want to post about it but don't feel I can/should yet. Not that I'm the chattiest one here, but I've just kinda been silently following lately. Anyway, just wanted to say hi lovely ladies! Sorry it’s been rough. I think I remember you saying there were changes happening at work. Sending hugs and hope you have a clear head to navigate whatever it is.

kim22 have you been keeping up with the BBM? If so, I think you’re going to do fine. I have not been good like I was since C was in the hospital. He stopped sleeping through the night for a while so I couldn’t get up in the morning. I did it today, hoping to get back to a daily routine from here.

kim22 have you been doing other exercise? I rarely run, but can usually pull it off fine when I have to because I do a lot of HIIT workouts and other cardio. I'd probably go for it and just go easy on yourself with your pace. I also have to run 2 miles this weekend and other than weekend before last at my parents, haven't been running at all. As of now, I have no sitter. I just texted my last option. If she says yes, I’m going to do it. If not, I will bring the kids and walk it. It’s for a cause that is important to me so I want to try to get there somehow.

I’ve basically abandoned Chick FIL A and Zaxby’s (directly across the street) is not even an afterthought. Lol

C still has all of his teeth. But one is loose. I should probably get some cash since he spent his piggy bank in NYC and that was my backup.

klong11 have you ever had a cat that bites? Marty does it when overstimulated but also to keep my hand from moving when he wants pets. He also swats at clothes and bites them when we fold laundry and attacks our feet through the covers in bed. I know those things are playing but he’s big and about 7mos now and needs to learn to stop doing that stuff. We have spritzed with a water bottle but he doesn’t seem to be making the connection. In the meantime he has to be removed from the room when we fold laundry or sleep and I really need a cat to sleep with and I can’t keep one in with the other out. Also dh keeps asking when kittens calm down. I don’t really know that answer. He is calmer than he was but still pretty hyper.

Yes, 6! I think klong11’s C has lost just as many. His bottom two are not quite all the way in. The third bottom he lost has not came back in yet and it’s been many months. Today he lost the other side bottom tooth. I can see both the top two but it may be a while before they fully descend.

M told me one day that the tooth fairy only carries gold coins...… So I went to the bank and bought $15 in gold coins. At least I won't accidentally spend them.

We spritz and he sometimes stops but other times thinks it's a game and it just gets him more excited. He bites when you're ignoring his though, so the kids have learned to give him a pat so he won't. We say "he's an asshole but he's our asshole" Lol. I've just accepted it at this point. Probably not right but as long as I pay him adequate attention he behaves much much better.
