Yum. S is buying lunch b/c today they do deconstructed tacos at his school. Which is basically taco meat, lettuce, cheese, and scoops tortilla chips. I want to eat that.
It's the only time I can convince him to buy without arguing. Otherwise it's a bagel and cream cheese with carrots every. single. day.

jewels that’s what Dh and I had yesterday! We include a fresh pico de gallo and sour cream and put the chips in the oven to preheat, so yummie.

From here on out, MH has to be in his boss's office every Tuesday & Thursday morning by 6:55 to make a 7am conference call with offices in 4 other countries. Which means, I have to get both kids ready and out the door by 7. M eats breakfast at school but H has to be fed before I drop him off at daycare. Today was the first time attempting this and somehow it was successful. I feel like a superhero.
Don't remind me of this on Thursday when it all goes to shit as I'm sure today was a fluke.

It’s so dreary and supposed to rain all day. I got M2 to school for breakfast and M and I are home. We are meeting one of just besties at the children’s museum later. Other than that, I’m just doing some decluttering and catching up on the dvr.

Charlie is super snotty. I don’t think he’s getting sick —just the change of weather/new preschool germs kind of thing. We’re laying low today, regardless.
I may have to drag him to the big Y because I’m out of Oxy clean and I don’t actually think I can do laundry without it. Il

Il Everyone in my family has had different versions of a cold for the past week. I was snotty early last week, then later in the week B was snotty and S had a cough. MH is OOT but he reports that he has a cough and some snot as well. I'm crossing fingers that it doesn't escalate beyond that for any of us. |

Morning ladies. I'm grumpy. I work this weekend, next weekend the girls have a tournament and it's Maddie birthday party, and then I work the following weekend. So I'm just feeling drained going into 3 weeks without any downtime or much of a break.
I'm sure you all really want to know this, but my butt and back of my thighs are really sore. I didn't feel like I did any more leg exercises than usual yesterday, but apparently I did.
I'm the only one from my team here today (another person is supposed to be here but he and my boss are AWOL at the moment). I hope I don't get bombarded with too many signatures because I have some shows downloaded to watch while doing boring reports. Don't interrupt me so I have to work people.

My house sounded like the tuberculosis ward last night. All the boys are coughing. This week is crazy, DH has a huge week at work because they recently had a major merge and then Thursday night, him and DS1 leave for a tournament until Sunday. I have a 5 k Sunday and haven’t ran at all. Should I skip it or die trying?

kim22 have you been doing other exercise? I rarely run, but can usually pull it off fine when I have to because I do a lot of HIIT workouts and other cardio. I'd probably go for it and just go easy on yourself with your pace. I also have to run 2 miles this weekend and other than weekend before last at my parents, haven't been running at all.

You ARE a superhero. My sister helps me get the kids out the door each day (by 7:40). Not sure I would have much of a prayer otherwise. She’s on vacation next week so I am sure I will be questioning all my life decisions around 7:45 every morning. |

She biopsied a potential basal cell carcinoma right under the side of my nose, so that is a bummer (and hopefully nothing) and I have to wear w bandaid on my face for a week. It's family reading night at school, so mh is taking j to that after pickup. Otherwise another afternoon here that will go too quick.

Hope it’s nothing, tallb. The school is doing family writing night next week. It’s at 630. I’d like to go but I feel like it’s too close to bedtime and it’s right in the middle of the week. Maybe next year. |

Government efficiency at its finest....
We share an office with another government agency. They are responsible for some things and we are responsible for others. This agreement began last April.
Today, someone from the city office showed up and said our electric was going to be shut off at 2 for non payment 😂.
I called my boss, who got in touch with the other agency. And it was determined that our agency is responsible for the electric bill. Cool. But now everyone at our HQ office is pointing fingers at each other playing the blame game for whose fault it is. SOMEONE PLEASE JUST PAY THE DAMN BILL!
The funny thing is, I guess the other agency just continued paying it from April till now because it was on an auto pay. But now with the new fiscal year, they have new acct #s and it was kicked back.

What's another name for streamer sticks? It's like a plastic wand looking thing with a bunch of plastic(?) streamers coming out of it. Cadence wants them on the tables at her birthday party, but I can't think of what they could be called. I've tried ribbon wand, streamer stick, ribbon stick, etc., but it's just giving me rhythmic gymnastics ribbons....

J had preschool this morning. Non preschool days he wakes me at 7. Preschool days I have to wake him so we're not late. I do not get it.
