Hello hello! MH and I have a baby shower today. I've never been to a co-ed shower before! It's tailgate themed so I'm hoping it'll be laid back and fun!

Is he on budesonide? How many times a day? We were just one one dose a day maintenance and any cold symptoms that showed up, I immediately increased it to 2/3 times to keep it at bay- instructed by the doc. Poor C. Hope he does ok the rest of the weekend. No, just albuterol but I told my H before if this happens again, I’m calling the pulmonologist DD used to see. DD was in the hospital a lot until we met this doctor who was amazing. This woman once stayed on the phone with me for over an hour while I treated her to keep us out of the ER. Ironically, she shares the same office space as the neurologist DD just saw last week so I was just thinking of her. Ok. M2 was but on the budesonide for the wheezing so that’s why I asked. We had albuterol for when/if he had a cough. You must have an oral steroid for him. That’s doc sounds like she is good. Hope she can see him soon. |

Morning all.
Yesterday was a good day with a birthday party, cleaning up the yard and the kids playing in the leaves then MH came home around dinner time.
He’s unpacking and we’re cleaning up while the kids are being lazy, we’ve got Thanksgiving this afternoon at my Aunts house, they’ll be a lot of people there, it should be fun!

MH is in a bad mood this morning, probably because the Astros lost and he stayed up until 1 sulking. I had promised the kids we’d go to the zoo this morning so we’ll be leaving soon to get a parking space. It’s cold here (shut up I know it’s 65 and not that cold to y’all) and I need to see if H’s pants from last year still fit. Ha! When I said it was cold yesterday I almost put this same disclaimer about 65 not being cold to others. Anything less than 70 is COLD. /gavel |

Thanks guys. Yesterday’s game was a lot of wtf, so I was really down about it. I know at first I was not excited about moving here, but we actually like it a lot, so it would suck to have to move soon.
The boys let me sleep in today. We’re just about to have breakfast. I need to run to Home Depot to check for door hinges before Mh leaves for work. Later I’ll just be cleaning the house. Nothing exciting.

Dh had a slow pitch tournament this morning & the kids had a blast on the sidelines of the field. We packed most of our stuff for Norway next weekend, we’re trying to fly without checked luggage, this will be a challenge, given that snow gear needs to come just in case off. Else wise it was a lovely quiet Sunday.

My mom took the boys to my cousins baseball game so A, MJ and I went to a pumpkin street fair. Good food we had fun. Nursing MJ now so we can head home and relax.

The co-ed baby shower we went to wasn't great. It was tailgate themed and I really invisioned something laid back and super fun! It was just 3 hours of "mingling". They had a buffet (was tasty), but then no alcohol, no music, no games, no gift opening. Normally I'm not into shower games and stuff but we were all so bored sitting around round banquet tables chatting. MH and I may have used sick L as an excuse to leave and went to the bar for a drink...

Thanks, they lost. I guess “us” sounds weird to me because I don’t consider MH and I as part of the team but I suppose that’s how fans of professional sports talk about their team.

I gave Cadence new tablet rules. Today was the first day enforcing them and it actually went really well.
Basically, she has to earn the tablet. Good listening, doing what is asked of her, etc. Once she has earned it it has a time limit.
We'll see how tomorrow goes, since today she was at the movies with me and then FILs house for a couple of hours. Tomorrow is just me and her all day.

We leave tomorrow but had a great time. It was a bit challenging to not be able to do what dh and I used to do in NY- wander aimlessly and find fun things and great food. Cs tolerance for walking aimlessly is low. His knees hurt so bad, until we see a playground 🤨. We still had fun though and did a ton.
I’m looking forward to getting back home tomorrow although I wish I took Tuesday off from work. I may try to take a day later in the week to recover since the next few weekends are crazy.

I think I’m going with Sensitive Six for C. He seems to be more sensitive to peoples words and actions and has internalized things he shouldn’t sometimes. On the flip side he is also speaking out when something bothers him which is helpful. I’m glad he is gaining self awareness as long as he continues to have confidence.
He’s always been sassy and now has a larger vocabulary but I don’t think it’s increased. Stubbornness is the same.
