We’re at the sports store getting new skates for B, he has a used pair that I got from a coworker but decided he wanted the new ones so I told him he had to pay half, he said ‘ok Mom half is $30, I’ll take $35 cause of taxes and maybe we have to pay for sharpening’. hahah this kid.

Live blog update - CL has redeemed itself. A cute young couple that is quite responsive came when they said, paid via venmo, and are self sufficiently loading it in their car. Glad that is over!

My kids have always worn the cold control puffers for every day coats in the winter. They work great in carseats. I have warmer coats for playing in the snow or spending extended time outside. |

Lol to that first couple tallb. I donate little stuff but big stuff I want to make money on and I am generally not in a huge hurry to sell it. I just sold the vertical blinds on my sliding glass door. This dude messaged me 100x but ended up buying it. His wife came to get it and didn’t bring exact change so she had to run out to get change and come back. That was annoying. |

I went to lunch and for pedicures with some friends today. We've always done sporadic moms night out. But we've been good about planning one a month lately. It's nice. I've just been going through the prints I ordered of Mallory's newborn pictures and putting them in frames for family.

We went with our neighbor and one of their sons to a pumpkin patch/corn maze today. It was fun. Then C and I finished our outdoor decorations. I’ve always been anti inflatables but I do love the fun of Halloween.  I have a strobe light for the night off to make it even spookier. |

tgrimes I hope you are enjoying the cruise!!! I was sick all day yesterday. Not delightful. I’m better today and my stomach is flatter, so at least there’s a bright side. We’re stopping in Cozumel tomorrow and I’m looking forward to laying on the beach while reading a book. It’s so weird to not have anything to do. It’s been really nice though. My poor MIL missed the Texans game to stay home with H. She took him to the clinic today and he for sure has an EI. Coughing up a storm and super snotty. M went with my FIL to the game and apparently had a blast. |
