We just got back to our hotel room from the festival. They moved it this year and I didn’t notice until today. Our hotel is now 90 minutes away versus 30. Next year I’ll look at where it is better. But it was a fun and beautiful event!

Morning! Kids are playing, and I’m still in my robe. We’re all going to a pizza, puppies, and pumpkin festival a few towns over. I can’t wait to see the dogs!!

Morning!
B slept til almost 8 but is making up for lost time with his talking, it has been non-stop 🤪 Please just let me browse football news and drink my coffee in semi-quiet!
Weather is not looking great for pumpkin and mum shopping but we’ll see. The sitter is coming tonight and DH and I are going to see the Downton Abbey movie.

Morning! We had so much fun at our fall party yesterday! Our friends brought their bounce house which was a hit. I'm meeting my mom and sisters for brunch in a bit!

Morning. I tried getting on the board yesterday but the app kept giving me errors so I gave up. Yesterday I went to my coworker’s baby shower, they had great food at it. Then we went over to a friend’s house to hang in the evening. I don’t know what we are doing today but hopefully being lazy and hanging around the house.

During breakfast prep E spilled sprinkles all over the floor so I was forced into chores at wakeup and before coffee. In a cranky pants today. Mostly towards mh.

Sitting at McDonald's while Cadence plays. She insisted she needed a single pancake this morning. Their coffee really sucks.

Baby C had one like the first one last winter and it still fits. That was the warmest jacket he had and we were fine. My sister exclusively has used that first one for all of her kids since they were babies and she lives where it’s generally 10 degrees colder than it is by me. You are good.

I had the best time last night. A lot more people came than expected and it was a blast!
The shower went well too. I did sit with the SIL I hadn’t talked to and everything was fine. I don’t know if she knew I even had a 4th kid before yesterday.

flamingo we had a toddler one of version 1 a few years ago and I think it was okay, but the zipper was having trouble by the end of the season. I think it'd be fine where you are and just warmer layers on colder days. I'd also make sure to buy on sale (there's always a sale though..)

flamingo, I just got N the warmer style for this winter. We are obviously colder climate and I didn’t think the thinner one would be warm enough for recess outside. I would think option 1 would be good for your area though.

flamingo The first one is a great car seat coat, good from going in and out of the car and stores etc, the thicker one would probably be too big for the seat but great for playing in cold weather. I just did the conversion of temps and the first one would be great for outside play and if it’s a colder day I’d just layer with a sweater or vest underneath. My vote is #1

vino, did J end up staying at your mom's? I hope you had the best night alone if so! She did!! Apparently she thought it was ‘so cool’ to be sleeping at Baba’s and passed right out cause she she didn’t nap. They are due home soon so I’ll see how the night went.

Hi ladies. Yesterday was fun. The fire stations were having events at each one for the kids. They had a blast--rode a fire truck, got the be junior firefighters and work the hose, got a fast ride in an offroad vehicle.
The weather had been gorgeous this weekend. Today we'll try to visit great gma and go to a pumpkin patch.

Thanks, y’all! Can you tell I do not cold weather well? 😂 I was kind of leaning towards #1 bc a lot of the reviews for the heavier one were from places like Chicago, and obviously our winters are not as cold or sustained. So you guys are confirming what I was thinking. Good point about layering vino. Plus ideally I’d like him to be able to use next year for the handful of cold days we get in FL, or if we head up to visit my ILs or whatnot, so I think the lighter one would be more appropriate then, too. tallb yes, will def wait for a sale!

CL update - a family showed up in their European bike to view the table and then didn't take it! They were going to call an Uber if they wanted it. Omg never again. I'm tempted to do a curb alert and call it a day.

Add me to team impatient with selling stuff. I usually just end up donating/giving away. Once I get the bug to purge I want immediate gratification. I never seem to have luck with selling.

M had the first option. Not sure how warm it kept him, but he seemed fine. I liked it because it was thin enough to wear in the car seat.

The brand started with a B. They seemed quite hip.

The ILs left just before lunch. M has gone to work with Mh, and M2 and I are at a restaurant for lunch. I hope he is ready for his nap once we’re done so I can do a few things. M is the super jag this week, so I need to prepare the stuff for him to put on his poster. Also need to prep dinner.
