How do we sign Harry up for new shoes? He needs some and maybe he doesn't want to break in a new pair I think maybe when the shoe completely rots out from under him he will be forced to get a new pair. Until then... holes forever. It’s bothering me that there are comments of let’s just get back to criticizing clothes and look at sparklies. Because while yes, that’s fun and (imo) fair game for any royal, it’s also very white privilege of any of us to be like well I don’t want to fight about it anymore so let’s just move on. Not saying we have to sit here and go round for pages, but I agree with angelashly’s point that sometimes it’s ok to acknowledge why certain criticisms hit or slant a specific way due to Meghans different race. Even if it wasn’t how one of us as posters intended it to sound, sometimes micro-aggressions are unconscious and not ill-intended. The media is being outright blatantly racist against her and then other times very micro-aggressive about it. I don’t know whether Meghan is a bitch or a wonderful lady. I don’t really care. I said that because of you don’t get that certain criticisms slant a specific way by now, you’re being obtuse on purpose or you’re probably not going to catch on anytime soon, and we are going to keep going around and around forever. I apologize for saying it, I see what I did. This is also true. And I don’t fault people for feeling defensive, it’s natural and the hardest part about confronting our own biases. |

I'm just frustrated that after all the very thoughtful explanations, we're still getting "I know it's because of racism, but..." posts. That also goes to ArielMermaid 's post that some people just aren't going to get it, I suppose. I just think, if I'm this frustrated I can't even imagine how it feels as a POC to have these conversations.(This is me agreeing with you, I'm just rambling a bit.) This is my SO's problem right now. He gets so down when he is trying to explain things and he can tell that people just aren't getting it. |

I just secretly threw out a pair of my H's boat shoes because there was a legit hole in the sole and there was a hole wearing in the toe. "But they were comfortable!" Too bad, H, too bad.
Megs, you can do the same. Just wait until he's not looking! (although this may be hard, since it appears that he never takes those shoes off).

Lol guys it’s her dresser Angela Kelly who does it. They have the same size feet. Perfect. How many band-aids does Angela Kelly go through for her feet each year? No thanks to always having to break in new shoes for a Queen, who probably regularly acquires a crap ton of shoes. Ugh. My heels feel raw just typing this. I was actually just thinking that we see the queen basically wearing the same shoes every picture, so how many does AK *really* need to break in? |

My extreme long shot guess (dream) is a lost whereabouts one - Queen Victoria’s strawberry leaf tiara. Beatrice has spoken about her love of Victorian jewelry, plus victoria gave it to her daughter Beatrice (!!) it’s ruby and diamond but thought to be lost since the 1930s.   Here’s the brooch from the same set which, which went up for auction a few years ago, to get a sense of the coloring  |
