I love that Meghan has been wearing color the last couple engagements. Especially after the documentary (which I still haven't had a chance to watch...on my list for this weekend).

Kate spotted taking George and Charlotte shopping for Halloween costumes! Cute! I wish we had gotten photos!! "The Duchess of Cambridge stunned shoppers today when she popped into Sainsbury’s to buy Halloween outfits for Charlotte and George. Kate was seen between 11am and 12am this morning at the self-service counter. Wearing a black ensemble, Kate even asked some children what they were going to dress up as for Halloween while shopping at Sainsbury’s in the Hardwick Industrial Estate, Norfolk. Mum-of-four Kathy Whittaker, 53, was shocked to see Kate browse Halloween outfits while a brawny six foot bodyguard lingered close by. Kathy explained: “Another shopper said that Kate was in the shop near the clothing and pointed where she was to me. I just couldn’t believe it. She was with Charlotte and George looking at Halloween outfits but her bodyguard was kind of watching people with phones and telling them no pictures. I managed to get the photo as she was at the self service check out. I didn’t see what she actually bought. The lady that told me she was there had children with her and she said Kate was asking her children what they were going to be for Halloween. I think she bought some Halloween bits for her kids but I don’t know what.” She added: “It was so lovely to see her doing normal stuff that you and I do. It was so lovely to see her, she is always beautiful. You don’t expect to see that when you go shopping. I couldn’t concentrate on my shopping. Kate was wearing black trousers and a black polo neck. Charlotte was wearing a little checkered skirt but I couldn’t see anything else. She was saying: ‘Come on kids’ she just understandably wanted to keep them safe. You just don’t expect it to happen, you think Kate would shop in Waitrose or Harrods. But this is acting like the entire BRF is a monolith. I feel like there’s a big difference in how The Queen can choose to protect her son while living a fairly isolated life in old age while B lives a much less sheltered life and probably doesn’t want those types of news stories tied to her wedding day. I mean wasn’t there a blind about someone asking her about Epstein at a party? Yes again if it is really coming from her that she doesn't want the big wedding and that it is actually she doesn't want it and not the family pushing her to not do a big wedding then I am fine with it. I am not fine with people saying but of course they wouldn't let her what about the optics of her dad and the taxpayers when they didn't care about ANY Of it for Eugenie's wedding. there was actually a big stink about this for E's wedding. Personally I think that is probably what the real hold up is. A vocal minority would be upset about paying for another expensive royal wedding (possibly after a hard Brexit) and the royal advisers don't want to go through that again. They had a bunch of MPs speaking out against them with E's wedding which created a lot of fuss in the press. Then it kind of looked bad when so many more well wishers came out for Harry and Meghan than Eugenie and Jack. Tens of thousands compared to hundreds. It's awful but I don't think people really care about Andrew. |

So Celebitchy is saying that candid photos of Kate and the kids shopping were published by a few outlets but have since been pulled by the palace. So they do have sway over the press when they want to. Hmmm.

That red outfit is basically the first outfit I’ve seen MM in and liked. It fits properly, it’s a good color on her, and everything about it is flattering.
Still with the hair though. If you constantly have to touch it, just pull it back. I don’t care how cute it is in a few photos, it’s distracting to see her constantly touching it. And my mind is convinced it’s probably covered in strawberry jam, since that’s the life I’m currently living with DD.

I love, love, love Meghan's outfit today and I much prefer her hair like this.
I don't think there is anything suspect about Kate shopping, but I would like to point out an example of how the press treats them so differently. When Meghan's bodyguard reportedly asked people to stop taking pictures of her at Wimbledon, the tabloids had a field day. Kate's bodyguard watches anyone with a phone to stop them from taking pictures, and it's presented like a normal thing. And the fact that the few pictures were taken down by request of KP illustrates again that they do have considerable pull with regards to what does and doesn't get published- which, in addition to making it look like they could help H&M out more if they wanted, brings up whether they allowed the tarmac pictures specifically to fuel the controversy over the private jet.
