PDQ I'm not OK today. My anxiety is out of control as well head into cooler weather and illness season. I'm in the process of increasing my meds for the second time this year, but I can't fight the overwhelming anxiety. I just want to run away from everything. I won't, but I want to. My kids and husband need better than this, but I can't shake it. Yes, I've spoken with my doctor and husband about this and both are supportive. I need to make some changes to break the anxiety cycle, but I don't have the energy.

ohreally I don't. H is getting into his busy season at work and most of our friends work during the day. And family lives a few hours away. I work a little bit tonight, so that will help. But the days have been so hard lately. I texted H about planning a date night soon.

Good bye September... How is that even possible? I don't know. But I sent out invitations to DS2's birthday party at the end of October, the kids have their Halloween costumes, and I've started Christmas shopping so bring it on!

pbandjelly I'm sorry you're struggling and I'm glad you've reached out to your dr. Have you considered any sort of counseling to help manage the anxiety? Also meditation, even if it's 5-10 minutes first thing in the morning.

cornflakegirl My dr gave me a list of places to check out if I choose to go that route. But time and the kids are making that a last resort right now. She gave me some CBT strategies to try and I found an anxiety work book that uses CBT strategies. I'm hoping those will work for now. ohreally me too! We both just need some down time without kids right now.

Hugs pbandjelly. I don't know if any of these would help you, but it might be worth a shot for some temporary relief. We're here if you need an ear.

pbandjelly ((hugs)) Hopefully you can get your date night soon. I actually messaged my doctor this morning about a few issues that I have been having. I'd like to get some blood work done, but of course she wants me to come in first. I feel my anxiety has been getting worse. Also fatigue and low libido. H and I actually had an argument about it last night. So that was a crappy way to end the weekend.

I've been working at one of our county jails the last couple of days giving hep a vaccine. We're trying to prevent an outbreak. I'm exhausted. Let's just say it's not a place I ever want to go again.

klw I'm sorry, I've had those arguments with H too. It sucks and it's something we're both working on. It took awhile for us to understand how the other was feeling.

Thanks ladies! Luckily, H is amazingly helpful with my anxiety and does what he can to help me chill out (he's a true type B personality to my very type A self). I'm feeling a little better tonight, hopefully I can keep that going tomorrow. And I got a babysitter for Saturday night!

DD2 was up crying at 4:50. I got her settled back down, but of course my alarm is set for 6. On the plus side, I finished my training this morning for work.

pbandjelly I totally get it and I'm sorry you're struggling right now. I'm in a similar spot myself with anxiety and it's the worst. I'm glad you are getting a date night soon!

Haley is having a hard time going back to sleep when I nurse her early morning, so I am weaning off that, but that means pumping some to not be uncomfortable by lunchtime. I definitely don't miss pumping.

Z sttn occasionally. I would like to sleep train, but the only way I'll be able to let him cio is if I can't hear him. I gave him 20 mins last night before I gave up. Maybe I should sleep in the basement over a weekend or something. I think I might be scared down there though. Its not totally finished and gets super dark down there. I don't know.

I'm annoyed. We are having a 50th anniversary party for my Inlaws on Saturday. BIL and his wife live in Florida. RSVPs were due last Monday. On Wednesday I asked if they are coming. SIL responded with they were checking on flights and watching a possible storm. I said I needed final head count by today. I just asked her and she said that they aren't coming. They have been up here 4 times in 2 years for funerals for her family, but can't come up for the anniversary party.

PennyCandy, that's tough. I sleep pretty soundly for the first few hours and due to room placement, I probably wouldn't hear the girls crying without the monitor. What does he want when you go in there?

DD had her eyes screened at school yesterday. I am friends with the nurse so she texted me last night to say that she failed and we would be getting a letter about going to the eye doc. She failed in Kindergarten too, but when we went tot he eye doc, he said he thought the eye would strengthen itself out. But according to school number, she went from 20/40 to 20/63.

It seems like they had no intentions of coming so at least rsvp early enough. Major 🙄 to them
