The toilet at work overflowed. We tried the plunger but it didn’t work. Now we’re headed to hone depot to buy a snake because our usual plumber is out of town and the other ones we called can’t come today. We only have 1 toilet so... What a shitty day! |

I had to do that.
Today is the last day we can do any end of fiscal purchasing but I was done and have a ton of flex time so I left at noon. I watched some shows and now a nap before I pick up C.
Dh has been at jury duty the last three days and has had to work from home every night to keep his head above water. So I told him I’ll take C out after pickup and give him some solo time to work. I’m hoping he’s done today. They have their initial 12 but the defense is questioning for challenges today and dh is in the pool of 21 possible replacements. But the trial is set to last more than two weeks and we have a long weekend planned starting next Friday. Hopefully the judge will dismiss him if his number is called. The judge sounds like a jerk and has yelled at a few people already.
Anyway I plan to take C to home goods and target to get some stuff for a reading space in his room. I wanted two beanbag chairs but they are trendy and expensive right now.

My coworker took videos. It was comical. Being that I recently binged The Office, I took full advantage of that's what she said jokes.

Hey. S had school this morning so I ran errands. I picked up like 10 flooring samples at Home Depot and half of them are too light. It’s really difficult to find the right tone and level of darkness. There are 3 I like so I will show them to DH and then we will decide. I decided to paint 2 full walls with my color sample and I think I’m going to go with it. It’s still drying but I think I like it a lot. Nothing on the agenda for the afternoon. I have to work tomorrow so it’ll be an early night. Speaking of work, I won 2 tickets to Dave Matthews band in late oct. I asked my friend to go because DH could care less to see them. I now need to listen to DMB on repeat until the concert. I am not a big fan of theirs but a free concert is a free concert. Gross tgrimes I’m pretty sure they owe you big time for that. |

I got another sweet message from one of S’s teachers today. This is a different person than the last sweet message came from. I just love to know that people genuinely care for her and don’t feel burdened by her unique needs.  |

The part for the washer came in this morning so I decided to do it while I had two hours without M2. Everything is done, but I have to wait for Mh to come home to put the spring back on. Its the hardest part, so now we wait to see if that fixed it.

Dh got dismissed from jury duty around four and wanted to come with us shopping. He looked miserable the whole time and it just put a damper on my target fun. I still managed to spend $150 and not find the two things I really wanted. Now I’m dizzy and a bit nauseated so he’s got to handle bedtime. I wish he stayed home so he was energized to do this.

I've missed a lot! klong11 - Taking that poor cat in was very compassionate and sadly yeah, pretty much anyone else would have ignored him. I'm glad he's not in pain anymore. So sweet lfig! I love that S is surrounded by so much love and support. Congrats on finding your calling tgrimes. LOL |

Anyhow hiiiii. It's been a week - not bad, just busy. Then I was introduced to Popeye's today, which I'd never had before. Whoever was in charge of our Friday happy hour brought in tons of chicken and biscuits. I wish they had not because I now need more of it in my life, haha. I met up with DH, the boys and my SIL for dinner after work and ordered a drink and a side salad, and I am still full.
Anyhow we finally broke down and hired professional help for our mouse issue and we ordered a new dishwasher after ours quit. Lots of $$ for nothing fun!!
