H left this morning for Virginia.
E is going to my MILs right after school.
I will go home to an empty house.
I'm debating seeing if any of my friends want to get together for dinner and drinks or just laying low. I'm leaning towards laying low since FB reminded me that a year ago today was when I had to put Luna down. I cried all during my shower, then told myself to suck it up. But I'm really sad today.

It's early release day so my in laws are going to pick up M for us and then stay for dinner. I need to ask some questions about our cruise because they've taken this same one 15678545 times.

No school today for teacher workshop so N is home, which is great for keeping H entertained. I broke the news that they are getting flu shots today and N freaked out, so that should be fun. I’m bribing with going to a movie afterward, so hopefully it goes better than last year.

Morning!
Last night was back to school night. It was so interesting to see their classrooms and hear what they are doing. The teacher also finally gave us the app so I am anxiously awaiting all the pictures she says she will put on there!

Busy morning this morning. One of the neighborhood ferals was in our yard. His back half was paralyzed and he was not in a good way. I was able to catch him and after I dropped Cadence off at school I took him to our vet and had him peacefully put down. It really sucks, but I'm glad he is no longer in any pain.

klong11, that's so sad, but I'm glad you were there for him to provide some comfort in the end. mwhip, I'm sorry.  I also vote for a relaxing night in. Sometimes it's nice to have no obligations and time to yourself. wineallthetime I hope it was just something you ate so you can enjoy a day off with feeling better.

It's been a busy week here and I'm happy the weekend is finally within reach. The girls want me to teach them Skipbo tonight so I guess we'll have a card night.
FYI: A cute Halloween-themed (but could be read anytime) book Cass got at the library is Hubble Bubble Granny Trouble. The girls have read it many times and don't want to return it. I like it myself. Funny and cute with a nice message.

Honestly, I'm just mad at myself for not being able to catch him sooner so maybe he could have had some good years being taken care of. I know, he was a feral and you can't rehabilitate most of them once they get older, but just to give him a warm home and food he didn't have to scavenge for. |

I've got to break it out, read the rules and remember how to play, since it's getting cold and we wont be outside much anymore and will have to find indoor activities. |

The toilet at work overflowed. We tried the plunger but it didn’t work. Now we’re headed to hone depot to buy a snake because our usual plumber is out of town and the other ones we called can’t come today. We only have 1 toilet so...

Made it to Friday. Our odd nextdoor neighbors brought over dinner last night, so I'm eating that now. It's salmon, green beans, and a quinoa/barley mix but had to get over having to microwave the salmon. Potty training may commence soon bc n is leaking every night and then her diaper leaked on the way to school. Otherwise SSDD.

Hi.
Busy morning at work. I’m just waiting to leave now. I have 50 minutes to kill. Going to pick up M2 and head home to get something accomplished there before we get M2.
Takeout and the park on the agenda for this evening. Hoping to wear them out so bedtime is easy tonight.
