Z only woke up once last night, but was up for over an hour. I'm so tired.

When and how did/will you get rid of the paci? DS doesn't need it - he never uses one at daycare - but it is a really easy way to get him to go to sleep. We only give it to him at sleep times (which includes when we're out and about past nap or bed time and he's cranky). Honestly, it's not something I will worry about for awhile. She rarely gets one during the day so just nap and sleep. DS was the same way and both my kids were good sleepers. It's the only thing they required so why mess with a good thing, KWIM? I'll probably do the same thing I did with DS. When he was 2.5 I cut the tip of the binky. When I put him down to sleep he picked it up, looked at it and then threw it down. I just looked at him and said "I don't know what happened, it's broken". He had a couple wake ups that night and then was fine after. Both my kids only used the wubbanub paci so eventually I just cut out the paci and left him with the animal.

DD was chosen as a Leader of the Month for September. They do a little award presentation at night. And it is next thursday, but I have an open house night at my school. Total FWP, but I am so bummed about missing it.

Total FWP, but I am so bummed about missing it. Of course! How frustrating. I quickly learned with DS1 in kindergarten that we get little notice for such activities and we just have to do the best we can to accommodate with short notice. You’ll do plenty of praising and congratulating at home, I’m sure

We just got back from urgent care, and Charlie fractured his tibia somehow today. I'm assuming at daycare. He was fine this morning, but they texted at 3:45 that he refused to stand.
I am not looking forward to the next 6-8 weeks in a cast.

Good news! The ortho said he's hoping he only has to stay in the cast 2 weeks! He did so well again today. No fussing as they did everything.

I would pay money if my 5 year old would poop in the toilet and wipe her own butt.

I'm not sure where DD2 puts the food she can eat! For breakfast, she had a mandarin orange, egg, most of my sausage patty and a few strips of English muffin. For dinner she had chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and blueberries. She also had lunch and milk during the day.

I'm surprised he doesn't look chunkier after almost 2 months of no bottles, but I guess they burn most of it off.
