flamingo, I have been craving chili. I’m waiting for the first really cold Saturday to make a pot of it with a big glass of red wine.

My parents made it recently (they're still up north so have been having some chilly weather) and ever since Mom mentioned it i've been thinking about it. Thursday is our coolest day this week (high of 70, lol) so I'm going for it!

It’s so funny—I don’t like red wine at all either, but when I make a pot of chili I feel like it’s such a nice combination, and both of those things really make me think of chilly October afternoons.

You cut open a snack size bag of doritos or fritos and build your taco in the bag.

When you do walking tacos at home, do you actually still eat them out of the bag?

I can not get on board with walking tacos. I can understand out and about, keeps them confined. But at home, my plate keeps them confined, which is why I was asking. I feel like the bag would get hot, I'd drop it and my dogs would end up eating it all. Seems like way more trouble than it's worth, for a little bag of fritos.

I assumed you would sit down, but just eat out of the bag? I get you’d really walk at the fair/carnaval, but at least at my home This would be a walking disaster 😂😂😂.

Sounds more like a frito pie or something.

If I'm going to sit down, I'm still not going to eat out of a bag, that crap is going on a plate. I'm also cheap and would just buy one large bag of Fritos instead of multiple small bags for dinner.
