I dont know if it will be wonderful, but it is the weekend!

How is everyone? What are you all up to?

H just left for his guys thing. He's staying in the back of my Jeep, in a field, where 30+ other guys will be. Sounds not fun to me. Evie and I are going to do some shopping today, then get together with SMIl, since FIL is at the same guys thing, and we are getting sushi and wine. I'm more excited about this than I should be.

We have a birthday party at a park in an hour and then we’re dropping the kids off with my in laws. Hopefully I can get everything hung back up on the walls, clean out the laundry room, purge some toys and wash some clothes.

I bought one of the target 20 year of designer outfits for E.

I’m hoping to do a solo target and grocery store run. C might have me take e with me but who knows.

Ever since the school taught LO about school shooter precautions he’s been anxious. I get why they have to teach it. But i wish they would have told us they were going to so I could’ve talked to him first. But then again I missed orientation so maybe they did.

Hello! I just got back from the gym. Picked up donuts for the kids and MH and Tim Hortons spinach and egg white omlette bites for myself, very tasty. My in-laws might pick up C and L to take them to a Romanian Festival (please let this happen!).

Mallory is in that lovely 'only mom can touch me or I scream like I'm dying' phase.. but I asked A to at least try this morning so I could sleep an extra half hour without her. 2 hours later he woke me because she was hungry! She was in a great mood and let him hold and play with her without flipping out! And I feel so rested now.

Morning, j and I were up at 7, but he didn't want to go to Target with me so I got a solo run in. Had a nice sbux breakfast and a latte and purchased the random items. I got a mi-fold carseat for j with my trade in coupon from an expired booster at my parents house. Buying girl bday gifts is HARD. I ended up with some game bc she doesn't seem particularly girly. Now kids are in the basement with my MIL and I'm relaxing on the couch.

Sounds like some fun weekend plans--minus your H mwhip. That sounds like my personal hell. But your weekend sounds fun!

I work today. Normally I only go to this job SAT & SUN, but this month I had to come in yesterday too so it feels like SUN and I should almost be done, but in reality I still have to get through today and tomorrow so that's a bummer. I also got the joy of being selected for a mandatory pee test this morning--while on my period. So special.

I wish I could curl up on my couch, knit, and watch classic scary movies. I'm going to see if I can stream The Blob. I think the girls would get a kick out of it.

Went back to the doctor this morning. New inhaler and zpack prescribed. Hopefully this kicks it.
Cadence has, of course, started coughing again. I think hers is allergies though.

It's super hot today so we went to the train place and had lunch. Now we're headed home. A is going to a tractor pull with his dad and I think mil is coming over to hang with me and the kids. I bought those beads you iron together so we're going to do that and order pizza.

A frustrated me this morning. He told me when he planned this they were leaving at 3. Then this morning it was 2:30. Then on our way I was talking about lunch and he says "well I have to leave by 2" I'm like "well whatever time you're leaving we still have to feed our kids lunch" 😐 turns out his dad was texting him. So instead of just saying that 2:30 worked better he wants to shorten our family time. Pisses me off. We'll end up getting home around 2:15. But we had to rush through parts of it.

Morning. We’re in Memphis. Had a late night, so we didn’t get up as early as I wanted for the children’s museum. We just left there and the kids had fun. We’re in the never ending chick fil A drive thru now and then heading back to the hotel to grab our things. Game isn’t u til this evening, so we’ll probably meet up with my ILs until then.

We are all sniffling and coughing, so we’re trying to power through. All the meds on board for us.

Ugh. I'm tired and want to go home. My hands are tired from typing/writing. I've had some extra fun ones this weekend. I hope we get released soon.

Dropped off the kids with grandma, then went to brunch. Mimosas and duck fat vegetable hash. Yum.

Now we’re at sushi. I’m drinking martinis and have had to ask the bartender for shots of olive juice because he’s trying to kill me.

Hello. Yesterday was the first day of soccer. DD and T both scored a goal at their games. Later in game, T fell and a kid stepped on his hand so he has a bunch of little bruises on it now.

Today is football at my sister’s then a hockey game.

Well those iron beads were a fail. They are so tiny and the boys did not have the patience to place them lol. But we had fun with mil. House cleaning and laundry today.

My MIL bought some water beads for M. I ended up doing al of the work. So small and so meticulous.

Morning! No big plans here. We’re going out to a late breakfast if I can get everyone moving. Otherwise just house stuff. I brought up all my fall decor but I don’t want to use it all. I wish our entryway had a piece of furniture I could use as a holiday area (minus Christmas, I guess) so I could have a smaller more dedicated space for it. I don’t want it to feel like it’s always a half day affair whenever I want to decorate for a holiday.

Morning! I am at work and so tired. Yesterday was busy. I worked in the morning, then picked H up and we ran to Target to get a birthday present for her friend last minute. The birthday party was a pancake and pj party at 5pm, and it was a drop off party. It was at the neighbor's house so I intended to just walk home, but there was another mom that was staying so I felt a little guilty and stayed for about an hour and chatted with her. She is a very nice person but very over protective/anxious. After that we invited them and some of our other friends over to have a fire. DH cut up the swingset and we burned some of the wood. I, of course, ended up staying up too late so I'm paying for it this morning. I don't think we have much planned for today after work. I think DH is taking the girls to church and sunday school this morning.
