Morning! School for both kids, coffee with a friend & groceries for me this morning. The weather sucks today, so we’ll stay inside this afternoon. I put on free willy, which in my memory was okay for ds to watch... I think I’ve already FF over half the movie. Dinner prep in a bit. Pasta and soup. Which I’m both not looking forward to 😂.

Morning. Ns first day today. She did great. She cried at the bus stop but hadn’t seemed nervous until then. But she got over it quickly and a friend sent me pics of her getting off the bus at school all smiles.
H already claimed he missed her on the walk back from the bus stop. It’s going to be a long day just the two of us!

J ran right into before care and the director seems super sweet and seems to already know him, such a teacher's pet. N complained most of the drive in that she wanted to stay. Back to school traffic was horrific and took a solid hour to get to N's school...I thought we had gotten out early enough, but apparently not. Big meeting this afternoon, so better get cracking..

Don't go into labor during your meeting tallb. I'm excited for baby time coming up. I'm thinking girl, but I'm usually wrong.

Madison starts school today. Open House was a success last night. I really like the girls' school. Maddie initially had negative feelings when she found out who her teacher is, but really loved her when she met her last night. I did too. Plus M was thrilled when she saw her crush is in the same classroom again. She was able to pick her seat and selected one right across from him. Last year they talked about getting married but he told her he would just sit around and play video games all day. At least he's honest? Cass' teacher seems okay. Kind of stand-offish, but I think she'll be fine. I figure if you're going to have a dud teacher it's best during K when the kids don't know any better and the academics are light. She starts next Monday.

Don't go into labor during your meeting tallb. I'm excited for baby time coming up. I'm thinking girl, but I'm usually wrong. if anything the hospital is closer to my office than home...there is a hospital attached to my work even, which would be super convenient if my OB delivered there! I have half the teachers/staff offering to keep N after closing if needed, so that is super sweet. It's the MOTN going into labor that freaks me out, mostly nervous the house won't be clean enough 😂 I did some speed organizing last night, granted if we Uber my mom over, I don't care.

Morning! I came in late for I could take C to the bus stop since it's his first day riding the bus. Oh my word, he could not contain his excitement. It was adorable! My in-laws will get him off the bus so I'll have time to go to boot camp after work.

When I woke up with contractions at 430am I went into cleaning mode. I literally cleaned the house for two hours before I called anyone. MH woke up to me cleaning and was like- what are you doing?? It’s good you have people offering to help out if need be!

WTFBBQAJDOFKF!!!! I just found out my bonus for my main job is also having issues!!! It's been delayed, but now I found out it may not be authorized. I blame Trump because I need someone to blame. Does the military not want any mental health services? WTF.

I used almost all the mega pads I bought for post-birth with Cass because I didn't go into labor until about 40 hours later. I took Maddie to gym jam and went on a 2 mile walk amongst other things.

Cadence had her dentist appointment this morning. We are going to wait 6 months for the frenectomy. At that point her 6 year molars will be in completely(they have started erupting now). They feel like she will likely need light sedation for the frenectomy and will be able to seal the molars at the same. They also said in a year or 2 we will need to look into orthodontics because she may need an extender, but they like to wait until the permanent front 4s top and bottom as well as the 6 year molars are in completely before they put in an extender. Guys, my kid is going to hate me. Hopefully, her mouth does it's own thing and spreads on its own cause that shit sounds no bueno.

klong11 it's always interesting to me the wide variation in normal development. Maddie is 2 years older and just now having her "6" year molars erupt. The disgusting process led me to google "gum flap." *shudders* She's already had a lot of orthodontic work because she has a small mouth and her teeth are jacked up. My mantra is she'll thank me later. *sigh* Luckily they're so young they will barely remember most of the dental work.

I'm sure when she's in highschool prepping for prom she'll be happy about her pretty teeth. LOL

Morning ladies!
I was supposed to have a phone interview for an Office Manager position. I had lots of questions, because i don't know that's a change I'm really wanting to make. But the company never called me. I emailed my questions, but I feel like missing the phone appointment, on their part, is pretty unprofessional and probably not something I want to pursue.
Speaking of dental...one of Evie's top front teeth is loose. Picture day is the 10th. I told her not to lose it before then!

H had his intake appt with the school district today. Hopefully, he'll qualify for speech therapy. If not, I'll need to look into what my insurance covers. I didn't make it to the office until 11:30 so now I'm tackling my emails and voicemails.

tgrimes, I hope he qualifies. When will you find out? How did the cp/hfm go? Did you ever figure out which it was?

tgrimes , I hope he qualifies. When will you find out? How did the cp/hfm go? Did you ever figure out which it was? They are supposed to contact me within 15 business days. Then we'll have another meeting to discuss the results. Everyone there commented on how large his vocabulary was, he already knew his colors, he can count to 10 in English & Spanish, etc. Yes, that's all great, except you can't understand what the crap he's saying. So now I'm concerned he's not far enough behind to qualify, if that makes sense. I had to correct the speech therapist on what she thought he was saying a few times, so maybe he'll still get in for his articulation. Who knows. I took both kids back to the dr on Saturday. H's never progressed after we started him on acyclovir. M's spread down her legs and her arms, but was already clearing up by then. They still couldn't give me a definite answer but were assuming chicken pox.
