C is off to kindergarten! He was excited and MH dropped him off so hopefully the excitement lasted. L has her first day of preschool today, it's just an hour today and I stay with her. She's soooooo excited and driving me nuts. "NOW is it time to go!?" Every 10 seconds. She's had her shoes and backpack on for an hour and still has an hour before we go.

Morning! Hope everyone had a nice long weekend!! The busy season is officially over at my park!! Whew. Now I can catch up on the 5267 other projects at work I need to be focused on!
We are headed to STL tonight. S has appts tomorrow with the Neurosurgeon and the neuromuscular specialist. Then Thursday I’m getting my stitches out of my right hand from the carpal tunnel surgery and then getting my left hand done.

Morning ladies! I'm wishing I had taken today off, just to extend the weekend and be lazy. But I'm at work.
We got a new bed this weekend. I woke up wondering where I was because it's so much different than our old one.

I'm at work. Yay.  I got zero sleep last night because I was coughing so much. I have now coughed so hard I peed myself(nothing amazing about that, I sneeze and that happens), coughed so hard I saw bright lights, and coughed so hard that mh came running into the room in the middle of the night because he thought I was choking to death. FUN! I finally got some real good sleep between 6:15 when my alarm goes off and 6:45 when mh woke me up. We were almost late to school. So really hoping Cadence has a super busy day at school and comes home super tired and goes straight to sleep. A girl can dream, right? |

klong11 That sucks, I'm sorry you aren't sleeping. Could you call the doctor and ask them for the little pearls that helps with the tickle in your throat? I can't remember what they're called, but they take that tickle sensation down a few so you can actually get some sleep. And cough syrup with codeine. You need sleep or you won't get better.

Morning. I woke up to a horror show. Apparently I had a bloody nose in my sleep last night. Blood was on everything which is super great so now I’m washing all of my bedding, including the duvet cover. DH’s boss called and gave him the option to have today off so he’s home. I plan on minimal parenting after working all weekend. klong11 I’m sorry about all the coughing. I hope you’re feeling better ASAP. Happy first day of school to your big kids wineallthetime! |

I’ve been back at work for a little over a week and already done. Seriously all people do Is complain about stuff that I have no control over whatsoever, make promises that cannot be delivered and then I have to clean up the mess & do damage control. Meanwhile people do not seem to grasp that I’m not trained in communications, I’m an orthopedagogical specialist, who is working her big booty off to get all your external pr & communications right. Ugh.
DD’s fever seems to be gone, fingers crossed that this was it and ds isn’t next.
Also I’ve gained 3lbs in the two weeks I’ve been home. Wth?!?
ETA this was all really random, I’m sorry.

She gave me a pill that was supposed to help, but it seems to make it worse. I can't do the codeine, my body calls that party juice and I'm up all night with it. Mh has some muscle relaxers, maybe I"ll just take one of those and hope for the best.  |

PSA: For all the first day of school-ers. Be aware, 1 week in they're going to come home with the first virus and it's going to attack everything in it's path and you are going to feel like death. Prepare yourself, vitamin C, EmergenC, Airborne, whatever you take, start piling it on. Don't be like me. Don't think you're all good because your kid has probably already had all of the things from daycare. These kids carry EVERYTHING, new viruses daily, new dirt. They pick their nose and wipe it on their neighbors*. They share kleenex.* They are gross. They come home after a week and say, "hey mom guess who else has allergies, my new bff!!!" Hint: allergies are just what parents call them when their kid has a cold and needs to get their ass to school. 'You're fine, it's just allergies.'
*not necessarily true, but it might be.

I could not fall asleep last night. I really don’t know how much sleep I actually got. I tried to lie back down after dropping the kids off, but I couldn’t fall back to sleep, so I’m just resting with TV. I hope I can find the energy to go to the gym later.

Morning ladies. Sorry for the rough night klong11. I took the girls to the trampoline place yesterday. Man, I think I need to do 47893 kegels to better prepare myself for that place next time. I'll pick up the girls from TKD for Open House tonight, then back to TKD for my class. |

Hi hi - we survived dropoff. He picked out a nice shirt on his own, I was not going to force it and let him pick play clothes if he wanted, so I was pleasantly surprised. He walked right in and saw his friend. Mh and I were a bit teary and even N didn't want to get in the car when we left. Hoping he's having fun today. I'm now waiting for my 37 week appt and mh is doing pickup tonight bc I should work at some point today and not leave early.
J has a brand new cold, so he's probably going to be the one to infect everyone...he did finally figure out how to blow his nose though!

Morning!
We all went and dropped off B for grade 1!! Got him settled in his class and he was excited! Then dropped off J at daycare and currently basking in the silence at home. Not sure what I’ll do today but I’m excited to pick him up and see how the first day was and the welcome back lunch bbq went!
