Living between the liquor store and the ice cream store has really taken a toll on me. DH posted a picture of me today and I’m sure all our friends are now discussing if I’m pregnant because I looked at it and thought I might be pregnant. I have my 20 year reunion in October and 2 weddings in the spring so I need to fix this. I plan to start Tuesday with some sort workout/diet and I need to find my Fitbit charger and start wearing it again. Anyone want to join me?

Yes! I need to find regular motivation again! I just got back from a 3.3 mile walk/jog. Hopefully I dont drink all the calories I burned over the weekend!

I'm here! I need to make serious changes. This week I started counting calories and didn't drink for FOUR days in a row. I will be drinking heavily for the next 3 days then I’m going to take a break. Tomorrow is our end of season beach party, the one DH and I met at 22 years ago. Heavy drinking is required. My sister and I are thinking of not drinking for a whole month but every time we try to pick a month, we have a valid reason that it’s not a good month.

I've also been thinking about not drinking for a month. If I'm going to do it I feel like it needs to be Sept or Oct before the holidays but like you I'm always like, "The whole month EXCEPT xyz". There's always something!

I’m here! Started refocusing my food yesterday and trying to be really mindful about what foods i’m choosing. I’m also have a couple cups of dandelion tea a day and a handful of prunes to makes sure my digestion is good.
I’m already feeling the ‘hunger’ pains aka: ‘I’ve shocked my body from going from a zillion calories per day to under 1400’ pains.
As for the gym and exercise, ugh. My massage therapist says I’m super tight on the right side, so I’ve been doing yoga every night for the purpose of stretching and it’s been really good for me. I’ll reevaluate a fitness plan next week after my chiro appointment.

I want in. I was on a roll for two months straight then August appeared and my motivation to exercise bottomed out. I think my trip to my ILs where I indulged in all the unhealthy foods really set me back. I want to start over in September.
Mindful eating and at the very least 3 workout days a week. Just trying to feel better and have more energy.

With nursing I cant dramatically cut calories and since I dont eat meat, I sure as hell can't (and don't want to dammit) cut carbs. But I need to reign in the coke again. And get back to working out to tone my giggly self.

I recommitted to tracking everything last week, doing a Tone It Up studio workout and completing their daily moves, five times a week.
So far I am really loving Barre so I am treating myself to those classes when I don’t have the kids.
I ordered a Treadly to use at my desk. It arrives this Thursday and I am SOOOOOO excited for that.

My sister and I are helping to motivate each other and are planning to reward ourselves each 10lb lost. The key is we BOTH have to hit the 10lb mark for us each to get the reward, that way we both stay motivated and encourage each other. I think my first reward will be new booties for fall.

I’ve gotten a head start. Instead of my usual ice cream from the place next door, I walked to the next place down, like 1/2 a mile away.

I need to go here. I am going to significantly cut back on my soda intake and work on portion control. I need to figure out an exercise plan too. Maybe I'll try bbg/the sweat app again because I really liked that. My problem is just getting started. I keep wanting to push it off for dumb reasons. I just need to do it.

I need to get on a swim schedule. Everything got messed up this summer but I can commit myself to 2 early morning workouts now that school is in session. And start meal prep and tracking

Can we use this thread as an accountability check-in, too?
Ι did a 6 am Barre class. Considering going back to bed, but I’m going to take Pipsqueak on a walk instead.
Starting a five day detox (which isn’t as weird as it sounds, just no added sugars, processed foods, or grains).
Usually I don’t make any effort to avoid grains, but I have noticed that when I do, my bloating decreases significantly by day two or three and I see much better muscle definition. 🤷♀️

I will be doing 8.0 day 1 tomorrow. My eating won’t be great because I ordered groceries while DH was driving us home before but they had no pick up until after I’m at work tomorrow so DH will pick them up and I can eat healthy for dinner. I’m 18 pounds up from where I was when I got pregnant with C. I was 10 less than this last fall. I’d like to be down those 18 by C’s Birthday in December.

Did my fit test also. Today I had to be in at 8 and no traffic since no students. Tomorrow I have to be in my 7:30 and drop off C and traffic will be crazy so I will be up at 5:30 but I’m going to get it done.

Never made it to the gym yesterday, but I’m headed there right after drop off. I think I’m just doing some incline treadmill and weights this week and start back at classes next week.
