I got up earlier than usual so I can walk M to school in her 1st day. Pretty sure I’m way more nervous about this than she is.

We start today and I'm really nervous. Peach said he was too. He doesn't want to ride the bus today. So I'll pick him up.

MJ was up for an hour motn which is odd for her. She was just smiling and looking all around from 4-5 am. Then I woke up to M screaming at 6. He's been complaining lately that his brain hurts.. I think he's getting migraines. I started getting them at 7. Guess I need to call his pedi.

Good luck to the first day of school kiddos and moms! S has her first day of preschool today so I get my first day of freedom (it’s only 2.5 hours). I need to run some errands while she’s there so I’m sure it’ll go quick.

Morning! Coffee with my mom this morning and then an appointment with the paediatrician for ds. He has significantly grown and gained weight since March (32lbs —> 37.5lbs & 43inch —> almost 45inch). I sure part of it is to do with ds being 50% hotdog, 50% kid after the states, but hey, I’ll take it. If we keep having eating problems the doc said we might want to think about EMDR or CBT, but for now we’re fine. Back in six months. I’m skipping ds’ swim class because I cannot stand the idea of being in an indoor pool while it’s 93 degrees outside.

Have a great first day to everyone headed to school. MH and DS1 are heading to the amusement park and my friend and her girls are on their way. It will still be chilly at the beach so if they get too cold, maybe will we head to the boardwalk.

T never used to be shy but he’s getting shy this summer. I think he’s starting to get nervous about K. Yesterday someone asked him if he wanted a chocolate or vanilla cupcake and he wouldn’t answer.

Morning, good luck for the first dayers! N had her first dropoff at the big kid playground with j and didn't even notice when I left. Hoping she doesn't freak out later when they divide up the classes.

This weekend was a bit exhausting, we went to the air and space museum which sucked bc it was under construction, but it was a gorgeous day and we had lunch at the sculpture garden. Then went to a playground a few blocks away from our house..there is a waldorf school that has a crazy playground situation..made me think of nam2013! There is one part that has a water pump/tented area that mh legit thought was a homeless camp😂😬 And other k popsicle party and j learned one new name...the brother of the friend he made at the last two events.

I have a growth scan/appt this afternoon. This week is going to be a doozy.

I have a massage scheduled at 1 and I can't wait. Might take the girls swimming this morning or just relax beforehand.

We successfully did the car drop off line this morning and it went smoothly. Cadence tried to change her mind, but I had already pulled in line and couldn't park since it's the teacher's parking lot. The helper was super nice and even complimented Cadence on her unicorn dress, so she went in with a smile on her face. Now I just hope she was able to find her class spot in the cafeteria.

She is a snotty mess. She woke up yesterday all stuffed up and is pissed about it. She couldn't understand why she could blow her nose and it still wouldn't allow her to breathe. I don't know if it's allergies or a cold though.

tallb hahahahaha that sounds like my kind of play area. I love it when they have a water pump. I can see where you’re coming from, it probably does not look like a play ground 😉.

M did great. The teacher rearranged some kids at her table so she was a little confused but the little girl we met last week is still there. Hopefully, she actually eats lunch and dinner.

M was not in a great mood this morning. It was wet and rainy outside so I think we all were just gloomy like the weather. Just picking up around the house and organizing the guest room so I can get more boxes in the garage unpacked. I haven’t been productive the last two weeks I’ve been mostly off, so I’m trying to start the week off right.

Hi all. We’re on our way back from a weekend up north with DHs family. It was relaxing, but still one too many days with the ILs, and the terrible bed has my tailbone feeling like it’s cracked in half. Dh took today off and we’ll be home by noon so it’ll be nice to get some things done around the house.

My SIL took some maternity pics with her phone and I’m happy with how they turned out, and that i saved a couple hundred dollars. Win!

My manager is off for the next three months, he is taking the last 3 months of parental leave and his wife is going back to work, so work is going to be bananas.  I've made it clear that I will support and get the executives the info as they need but I will not be railroaded or expected to drop everything; it'd be for nothing, no extra pay and/or recognition so I wont be taking care of everything and stressing myself out. 

Then the feminist in me gets annoyed that it would never be expected for a man to just step up without pay or recognition, hopefully I don't spiral, I probably shouldnt be burning bras and showing up in pussy hats at my govt job.

My mom moved to Vegas to take care of my SD until his lease is up in late February, so we have a bit of a change going on here. It’s fine, my sister is going to come over and help get everyone out the door for school.

X did great. He got upset that the routine was off and he wasn’t getting in the car with Poppy like usual (he’s very attached to knowing what to expect), but he calmed quickly and although he seemed shy at his new class, separated from me pretty easily. The teachers and aides got him started on his birthday crown right away. I’m so excited for him.

Pipsqueak continues to hide under my bed. I hope he eventually decides that is no life for a rabbit and comes out to explore and socialize.

cagoldi I was wondering if you got the bunny when I was with a woman last night who was saying she has a pet turtle that just wanders free around her house. It apparently likes to sit between her and her boyfriend on the couch.

The water is red flagged again but the 2 big girls are tumbling all over the beach and the little ones are building a fort out of towels. C is trying to catch a seagull. DS called me from Great Adventure to tell me about all roller coasters they have been on. Sounds like he’s loving it.
