Dear DC's joints,
Quit it.
Sincerely, Humanity, which needs every foot on the ground we can get come election time.
Kidding aside, I'm sorry you're struggling. As someone with psoriatic arthritis and a hip replacement, I completely understand the frustration and discomfort. I hope your appointments get you on the path to pain relief.

He is insane. And frankly, that's why I didn't find his tweet this morning about a Trump tower in Greenland very funny. He likes to "joke" about many things that he actually wants to have happen.

That’s what terrifies me about his ‘joking’ about a third term. He’s not kidding and seriously thinking it

I’m sorry DC I have what I think is the start of potentially RA in some of the joints on my hands and feet so I know how bad that sucks. All of the positive vibes that your joints get their shit together so you can help save humanity. ❤️

Does anyone have the article from (I thiiiink ) Rolling Stone about background checks? It came out a few years ago about how the NRA has lobbied to keep background checks from going digital so they’re basically all still in boxes?

This is really interesting because I just heard a replay on NPR about the frontier myth and how endless expansion allowed people to focus on growth instead of having to look inward at social progress. Growth was seen as the answer to it all. More land. More resources. More wealth. Those will create the rising tide that lifts all ships instead of making those demands on govt. Somewhat the origins of libertarianism. Now, with the world all carved up and accounted for, we have to take care of a geographically static US and therein lies the challenge when we still have not advanced much beyond the frontier mindset. So I find this really out of left field idea to buy a country curious. Horrifying and stupid, please don't misunderstand. But I'd be interested in digging into the motivation. Unless it's nothing more than a random idea he swatted at like a stray fly...always a possibility with this guy.

Perhaps this search for more land/resources is related to this administration's push for exploitation of natural resources in our parks, and shrinking the footprint of protected land.

Good. The more money and energy he spends fighting a primary, the less he has to attack the Dem candidates. NEW—> Former congressmen Joe Walsh and Mark Sanford preparing to launch primary challenges to Trump, while Jeff Flake fields a flurry of recruiting calls and John Kasich heads back to New Hampshire.
