I am so tired of how embarrassing Trump is on a global stage.

So jealous- it’s 2 1-gallon packs here. We’re on the cusp of not drinking enough, but right now it’s still more cost effective to buy Costco even if we have to throw away a little at the end I need to know... Milk drinking families: How much milk are you going through in a week?!? Anywhere between 3 and 5 gallons a week? More when the kids are out of school. I also have 3 kids, oldest is 15 and drinks a lot of milk, youngest is 14mo and is just sipping at this point. I usually buy 4 or 5 gallons at a time. The kids drink whole milk and I drink skim usually. MH doesn't drink much milk. ETA: Apparently we are milk guzzlers

Depends on if it's a week where we have my boyfriend's kids more. Then easily 4 gallons. There are 6 of us total and we are all cereal eaters.

Right? I should clarify that I’m sure there are cheaper options - I buy local and organic. I think the cheapest would probably be around $3 a gallon but you’d have to drive to a target or Walmart which is not feasible for a lot of our low income folks here. I still need to research a local milk delivery company because I would like mine to come in reusable glass bottles. Our organic half gallon is like $5.69. Organic and local... I can't afford it. We do have local non-organic milk in glass bottles that you can buy in stores. But I think even regular milk is still $3/half gallon but I'd have to look next time. It’s the same price here in NH, but you get $3 back for bringing back the glass jar! We haven’t done it lately (I have 2 glasses) due to ds being allergic to milk.

Ted Kennedy died 10 years ago today. John McCain died one year ago today. I knew they were big rivals and friends from the Senate but I didn't realize they both died on August 25th.

I don’t even know how to respond to this.
Trump suggested hitting hurricanes with nukes to stop them from making landfall in the US.

You know, we really need to stop saying the thing he said was the dumbest thing he could say. Motherfucker takes it as a challenge. "Hold my giant ass Diet Coke."

This is why we still buy milk at Costco; it’s cheaper than buying a gallon at a time We don’t drink enough milk for Costco milk. 😢 I know this discussion was long ago, but we buy the 3 pack of half gallon organic whole milk for $12. It must be ultra pasteurized because the dates are always a month out. We can space out the opening of them before the Best Buy date.

Last week I bought my son a half gallon of fairlife milk for his dorm. He doesnt drink much milk at all, sometimes with a cookie or he has a box of cereal. It expires oct 14th. That seems waaaay out there. Similar topic on long expiration-last year in august i bought him a loaf of bread at target for his dorm. He brought sbout 1/4 of the loaf home to show me in may that it wasnt stale or moldy. Lol.
