24 weeks today! Happy V-day to baby 😀

In addition to being excited to hit my first big milestone, my MFM is also allowing me to move to modified bedrest for the next week to see how things go. I can go outside and walk around a little bit!!!! No walking or standing for more than 10 minutes, but I'll take it! Going to watch DS play on the outside playground at our building in an hour.

BIL and his family are coming to stay the weekend, but they don't get in till after midnight, so I have all day to finish my cleaning up. We're finally getting some much needed rain, which I'm pretty happy about.


I'm so happy tapa is working again!

It's fridayyy! It's been crazy at work so I have a lot to get done today but I'm just glad it's Friday. Then when I get off I'll be on the phone wth the customer service reps to get baby's dresser replaced.

I woke up to DD crying and thought it was Saturday, so I was listening to see if H was getting up to get her. It wasn't until I looked out the window and saw his car gone I realized it was only Friday.

We are heading to a resort this weekend with my parents and brothers family. The kids are so excited, especially DS1. It's amazing how much easier things are getting with these two (besides DS2s sleep which we will battle until he goes to high school) now that DS1 is almost 5 and DS2 will be 3 in October.

When I think about this little trip the first thing that comes to mind is how much fun the boys will have instead of how annoying it will be to pack everything. Huge strides!

DD and I are getting together with some girlfriends today for lunch. We all have kids around the same age and two of us are due in October again. We're meeting at a Chick-Fil-A so I'm pretty excited about that as well!

I had no idea until last week that you were on complete bed rest. You are so zen about it all. I don't know how I'd have handled not being able to fix myself meals and sitting outside under our porch watching DS play and taking short excursions out and the little things I am able to do at home.

I suppose I am glad it's Friday. We ran into a snafu while the landscapers were excavating yesterday so we are on hold for a bit until we can figure out how to deal with it and over the weekend preferably so we don't lose much time. No dead bodies were uncovered! So nothing terribly exciting like that. It potentially involves the house structural foundation and it's out of the landscapers experience; translates to they don't want the liability. Needless to say I spent practically all day yesterday researching about it and know more about hydraulic concrete than necessary. Omg! The internet is quite incredible and found that it may not be as awful as we thought phew! and upon further research last night hubs found a patent for the "structure" lol! Now hubs has the hard task of diy the removal and patching the foundation this weekend. Fun!

YAY Taitai!!!

I'm officially on vacation! Dropped DS off at daycare, went to UPS, the bank, Starbucks, Target, and Stop n Shop. Now I'm getting a mani/pedi. Meeting a friend for lunch, then cleaning, packing, and prepping for dinner tonight. We're having some friends and their kids over for pizza and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. Tomorrow we head to the Hamptons for the week.

It's been a week since DD's sleep has gotten better. I'm going to call it now. The regression is over. (This one anyway). It was 2 weeks of hell but we all survived.

One more day of work then I'm on vacation for a week! Woot Woot!

Happy Friday everyone! Work is not so busy today so I've been checking out real estate... I have no desire to move right now but for the first time in ages there is inventory so I'm checking things out. I found some good decor ideas.

Friday!! I thought a lot of people were taking today off and expected a slow day at work. Nope. They are all here. Cramming in next weeks projects into today. At least it's half over almost?

Update on our broken dresser piece. I called Delta Children, provided all of the numbers they needed, and they claim I'll receive a new piece in 7-10 days and can trash the broken piece. FX it turns out to really be this easy. I was preparing to have to wait a long time and repackage and return the entire dresser.

DS is out on his usual am walk with grandma and he has a sweatshirt on! Wut! The weather here is schizophrenic. It was in the 90s yesterday and today in the low 70s. Guess I shouldn't complain. All the talk about Xmas stockings actually got me thinking about holiday stuff and now I've added on to my to do list of finishing some felt ornaments for DS's felt tree. I have pieces cut already, just haven't had time to embroider/decorate some of them. Grandma has started embroidering a stocking for fella #2. She made one for DS already. Speaking of which I sewed the loop incorrectly so it hangs wrong/weird...guess now I have the time to undo it all and resew it! Yay! Also with all the crib sheet talk I randomly went to look for sheets for us ( ours are getting quite threadbare ) and found that Macy's has a pretty good sale on sheets now!
