I had another work trip this week and just got back. DD turns one tomorrow 😭 Then Saturday is our anniversary. Sunday we are having family and friends over for DD’s birthday party. The in-laws are coming to stay with us so my H and I have free care built in so we can go out and celebrate.

We use the weighted straw cups for water and the 360 cups for formula/milk. Mainly because I don’t want to clean milk out of the straw. We do the opposite. She drinks milk out of the weighted straw cup and uses the 360 for water. She didn’t like the 360s for awhile and would only really drink out of the weighted cups. Now she’ll do both but we haven’t changed it up. We use the platex stage 3 straw cups for milk. They're not bad. And 360 cups for water and juice. The straw cups are pretty easy to take apart and clean in the dishwasher.

potatocakes , i think the funtainers are worth the investment- you can get them for $10-$12 on amazon on sale. i totally disassemble mine and put them in the dishwasher-- i put the straw/mouthpiece part in the silverware basket and the body/cap in the top rack with no problem. alternative suggestions- get a cooler with a hard-sided insert so that stuff can't tip over as easily, or see if your daycare provider is willing to keep a carton of milk in the fridge for you there. DCP does all food, including milk, so I just need to provide the cup. I'd send the funtainer for water.

My children slept until 8:00, which is unheard of. They were also up 4 times between the two of them last night.

Happy Sunday! I have my sister's baby shower today and I am excited. Yesterday was really busy so right now I am enjoying the peace and quiet. DD1 is the only other one awake, but she is playing on her tablet in her room. 😉

C has finally figured out the 'ma' sound. He doesn't know what he's saying but I love hearing him say it 💗 He did pretty much every other sound first lol.

DH and I had a nice weekend away at Newport while the kids stayed with our parents. They both did great. It was so nice to have some much needed alone time.
