E slept through the night! I didn’t but she did. I woke up thinking it was Friday so now I’m disappointed. I’m with my OG team today. So at least work will be interesting. One of my favorite IT Networking guys last day is tomorrow and we are going to a brewery after work tomorrow to celebrate his new job.

Also we finished transferring my parents car over to me so now I have a car again. They are buying a new one, they are either going to get a mini van or a bigger suv so it’s easier to take the grandkids everywhere.

chrisy01, the Kia Sorento is on super discount right now and has a 3rd row that can stay folded down. I almost got it but I really don't want that much room.

I think I have settled on getting a Kia Sorento with a sunroof. I had been against a sedan but it's a pretty good deal and very roomie. It has lots of safety features like lane assist and blind spot detection that if you drove with me in Denver you might think I need these

I have been pretty busy with dealing with the car insurance and finding a car but finally trying to settle in

Morning. I'm at work. C had soccer last night and MH took him and L. They ended up having so much fun playing after that they were gone for 3 hours. It was the best.

I am getting emotional about school starting. I really need to plan something for tomorrow with E and MH to celebrate end of summer/school starting. maybe a water park

My coworker was making fun of me because our elementary is doing a "boo hoo breakfast" in the library on the first day and I was planning on attending. She basically said I was making a big deal out of nothing.

uh, I'm sorry, but this is my one child. The only child I will ever get. The only first day of kindergarten she will have. Plus, she and I are very bonded, so I'm sorry, but it IS a big deal.

It's hard to believe it's only Thursday. It's been crazy at work, but I've stayed on top of things getting a lot done. This is my only slower day and I think I'll ditch out a while this morning to get some chai tea or something. Or finish this season of Queer Eye. I liked it much better than last season where it felt like they were phoning it in.

Mh did not take the bedrails out of my car this morning like I asked, so I was a peach and super late. The pickup was kind of awkward, well for me, just opposite lifestyles. She stays home with 4 kids in a $1.8m home...and I'm buying her PBK hand me downs. She was super sweet and could see us being friendly, just such different lifestyles. It did make me glad we bought in the town over that is more our speed..

I also stopped at ON and found j some of the new karate style pull on jeans, which were only $8 in store in the lighter wash, but 3x as much online. Figure I can see if they fit and if they are great I'll get the darker wash.

She can F right off. You can feel however you want to feel. M’s last school has a boohoo breakfast for pre-K3 - K5. It was cute and I enjoyed the breakfast and meeting other parents and I hope you will, too. She can keep her opinions to herself.

Oooh I need to check our store. I’ve bought those for M the last few years because they fit his slim butt. They wash well in my opinion, but I don’t put our jeans in the dryer. I always air dry them.

Hi. At work, again. For someone not guaranteed hours, I have been working a lot more than I thought I would be. I have a hard time saying no, though. I am looking forward to some days off. Hopefully I don’t get called next week. My house needs me.

It’s been a busy week with back to school, swim lessons, and work after a weekend away. I’m refusing to cook tonight. We’ll go out after swim so I don’t have to deal with cleaning and we can get the kids to bed on time for school in the morning.

Smart thinking. I've dried J's jeans but don't dry adult jeans.. glad to hear they fit well! J is finally fairly athletic build now that he's stretched out, I'm used to dressing a sturdier build.

I had no clue what karate jeans were so I googled. I laughed because they are just stretchy jeans like for girls/women but because they are for boys they are marketed as action-packed and able to withstand hi-yah! That's probably what I'll look for when my girls need new pants because fucking girls clothes don't have pockets. I have no doubt these karate jeans have pockets.

I will now be off of work from the 16th-20th due to school related activities(meet the teacher, first day, and now the day before the first day because I realized I had no child care set up for that day. If I request it at dc they will make me pay the whole week for that one single day). FIL has agreed to take Cadence to her Monday dance classes, though, so I won't have to rearrange my work schedule for that, luckily.

Am I the only one who isn't emotional about school? Maybe that'll change once he actually goes but right now I'm pretty whatever about it.
