I called an electrician about the fire alarms. They will send someone to look but he doesn’t seem to think they will find anything. Online searches suggest dust, spiders, or ghosts. Last time this happened, I couldn’t sleep for weeks.

Hey. We wrapped up the first coat of paint this morning and I’m really liking it! DH has already started on the second coat, and we have discovered that we really overbought the paint. We are 3/4 through the first 5 gallon bucket...and we bought 3. I doubt SW will take back the tinted paint, which is a huge bummer. Now I’m searching out inexpensive shutters, but I can’t decide which style I like best. klong11 sorry you couldn’t make it to the cemetery today. I would try. My coworker said he took back a can of paint that was mixed and Home Depot refunded him, so it’s worth a try. I think they sell already mixed paint at a discount. Maybe call and inquire at the very least. |

Didn’t get a chance to check in today. I got a text last night about 7pm asking me to work today and I agreed. Work was steady. Not too bad. I go back tomorrow, too.
We had meet the teacher last night. His teacher and her assistant seem super nice. I learned that one doesn’t just sign on to the PTO. It involves at minimum a fee, and extra contribution if one wishes to do so. Not sure what I’m in for, but I’m sure I’ll find out soon enough. He starts tomorrow!

The boys have popsicles in our freezer in the garage and regularly get their own. Well yesterday they didnt close it good... I have to pitch everything. It's all thawed.

Hi from the lake! We took the boat out for a sunset cruise. The weather is perfect. This is probably our last trip with school starting next week so we are enjoying every minute while we can.   |

Our PTA is $25 membership fee. The funds raised have to be spent within the year and go to school activities and fundraisers. We will def be joining, but not sure we will be able to get to many meetings with the baby. I went to a meeting at the end of the school year last year.

We pay a fee to join the PTO and there are some crazy-involved people on the board. Lots of stay-at-home Mom's who used to have high-powered jobs and now that their kids aren't home full-time, they need something to focus their energies on. I think it's great honestly, it takes pressure off of the rest of us. I happily donate and participate in activities to support them

I was just trying to sign up to meet other families/moms, but I walked up and saw credit card iPads. I grabbed a sheet, and like guster said, it’s tiered. You could just pay the membership fee or you could you one of the levels- up to $200. I was checking out what other people were giving and my mind was blown. I only gave up to the first tier- which was only $25 more than the membership fee. |

I'm so tired. Our friends dog was captured and reunited last night. Apparently my friend told the dog sitter not to take the dogs to the dog park, he did anyway, but he took 5 dogs by himself. It's amazed only 1 got lost. The dog was lost Friday evening, my friend found out Saturday morning via FB on a lost and found pet page, her dog sitter didn't even let her know Friday. I don't think we would be friends with him anymore. I trimmed Addie's nails last night and cut 2 way too short, one is still bleeding this morning. I feel so bad. I've washed 2 blankets and sprayed the carpet with cold water, trying to get all the spots up. Such a mess. The Evie came into our bed around 11 last night, so I slept like shit. I think I woke up every hour and stayed awake for too long because I was claustraphobic and hot. I did already set my out of office assistant to start today at 4. It's the only thing getting me through the day, knowing we leave for vaca tomorrow! I haven’t read in to see if this was recommended but cornstarch stops the bleeding enough to let it clot. Just put some in a mound and dip the nail in. You may get some corn starch powder around the house a bit but not blood. It also helps them feel better because the nerve is covered. You can also get Styptic powder, which is made for pet nails. ETA: I see this has not only been covered but tried 🤷♀️ |

Work is nuts, which seems to be the usual the past six months. It I’m getting shit done and my boss is really happy with me. C took a fall of the bar on the swing set. It’s like a trapeze bar that swings. You’re supposed to flip on it while holding the circle handles but he likes to get up there and sit on it. He’s diene it a thousand times and on a scale of risky stuff he does, I would rate it low. I don’t know exactly what he was doing but he fell off as I was looking out the window to check on him and landed pretty hard on his right side. I think he has a bruised or cracked rib. He also said his neck hurt a little but didn’t mention it until an hour or so later. He is breathing fine and calmed after some ibuprofen but I’ll take him in tomorrow if it still hurts just as bad to confirm nothing else is going on. If he cries after an injury it’s more for a minute out of shock or upset he failed at his trick so for him to be crying in pain for the amount he did was not the norm. He had extra ice cream and is sleeping with us tonight just in case. My gut tells me he is fine but I also want to be near if he needs more pain meds overnight. Never a dull moment over here! inthekitty we are coming to Seattle April 10-15. We are staying near Gas Works park in Wallingford since it’s a mid point from downtown to our other friends house. You are required to meet up with us. I’m pretty certain C and your girls would have a blast together. If you ghost me we could just show up at your TKD studio! |

wedding I hope he didn't hurt something seriously and he feels better tomorrow! H sent me a text that Addies nail was still bleeding when he got home and let her out. So I called the vet and they recommended Blood Stop, which I happened to have at work from a previous job. They also said to try to keep her calm, the excitement and extra blood flow is likely knocking the clot off. There was no more blood when i got home, haven't seen any tonight, so hopefully I'm in the clear. But, our refrigerator is now making a loud noise. Like we are pretty sure it's going to die soon. The soonest I could find anyone, granted it was after 5 when I called, was saturday afternoon, which is when we are due back from the lake. I left a note for the dog sitter that we know it is loud, so if it dies while we are gone, to let me know so I can cancel the service call. We are packed and ready to see a view like lfig tomorrow!

mwhip have a great trip! I spent the night handing off my PTO job (head of the class parents) to 2 other moms. I was happy to help while I wasn’t working but I have no time for a job or the crazies that came with it this year. It may have been part of my inspiration to go back to work. I’m in bed, exhausted with a massive headache yet terrified to try to sleep waiting for that ghost to set off my alarms again. I was inspired to finally order replacements for my fire extinguishers that were recalled like 2 years ago.
