Week/Fruit/EDD: 32w 5d/ Pineapple/ Sept. 25
FTM, Etc: FTM
Appointments: 8/28 will be my 36 week appt
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Blue
Milestones: Nothing new
Symptoms: Getting harder to get around, tired
Rants: Getting nervous about my blood sugar numbers, I’m having a couple high numbers and I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. I spoke to my doctor and if my diabetes isn’t managed by diet then I’ll be induced at 39 weeks, which I had hoped I wouldn’t have to be induced.
Raves: Started working on packing my hospital bag, took the hospital tour, it’s starting to feel real! 😱
GTKY: How is your baby naming coming along? Do you feel like sharing what name you have so far? Thankfully we’ve stayed firm on our name since we found out we were having a boy, he’s still going to be Uly.sses Tho.mas

Week/Fruit/EDD: 30w / canteloupe / Oct 14 FTM, Etc: STM Appointments: None this week Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): 💙 Milestones: 70 days to go Symptoms: Nothing too bad, actually. Just the same ol. Rants: I've been sick with a sinus infection and who knows what else for 11 days no. I'm miserable. I finally broke down and went to urgent care for some antibiotics the other day, so now I'm just waiting for them to kick in. I'm so annoyed that I've lost so many days of my summer break. Raves: I love my maternity photos...I'm sticking one below beneath the spoiler GTKY: How is your baby naming coming along? Do you feel like sharing what name you have so far? We have a name picked out! But we don't tell anyone until he's born just in case we change our minds. Here's my pic...PDQ {Spoiler}

Week/Fruit/EDD: 32w4d/9.27
FTM, Etc: #4
Appointments: 2 weeks from yesterday
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Pink
Milestones: ?
Symptoms: Typical 3rd tri stuff.
Rants: My SPD is returning which sucks. Guess I need to get that chiropractor appointment scheduled. And I've been working on inversions to help with my breech issue and accidentally pulled a shoulder muscle that kept me awake a bunch last night. Not even Tylenol is helping, which is a bummer.
Raves: I'm measuring almost perfectly now, which makes me think she's head down. 2 appointments ago, I was measuring 3 weeks behind and this week, only 1, so hopefully!
GTKY: How is your baby naming coming along? Do you feel like sharing what name you have so far? We've got a first name but no middle name yet. We can't agree on anything. I don't share on the boards for privacy purposes but I have told some people. I won't her name announce on SM until she's born.

Rants: Thanks to gestational diabetes, she’s measuring 3 weeks ahead. I’m not happy about that, I’ve been keeping my blood sugar under control for the most part. This sucks.
Raves: I just can’t wait for her to get here and to be off on maternity leave for a year.
GTKY: How is your baby naming coming along? Do you feel like sharing what name you have so far? she’s had a name for a long time but we don’t tell til she’s born.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 31w5/ Oct 3; induction tentatively on the books for 9/26
FTM, Etc: TTM
Appointments: Thursday, back to back MW and MFM with growth scan. I begin weekly BPPs in 2 weeks
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): pink
Milestones: Every day is another day closer to a full term baby
Symptoms: all of them. Biggest complaint is my hip is being a real pain and constantly popping out of place
Rants: I still feel like there’s so much to do even though baby related stuff is mostly done. My H finally said he realized how stressed I am about things not being done
Raves:
GTKY: How is your baby naming coming along? Do you feel like sharing what name you have so far?
She’s been named- Jac.que.line Re.nee. We were toying with other middle names but finally settled here. Her first name has been our girl name for many years, so when we found out it was a girl, H immediately started calling her that. IRL, only a handful of people know her name

Week/Fruit/EDD: 31w3d / Big jar of Nutella / Oct 5
FTM, Etc: 2TM
Appointments: Next Friday
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Green
Milestones: Frisco is all up in my ribs and lungs so breathing is fun now (not)
Symptoms: Picky about food, mostly because I can't eat much at one time (stomach is clearly squashed). The zings to the cervix have increased.
Rants:
Raves: Finally caved and bought a jar of cheeseballs, which I've been craving for months.
GTKY: We don't share names with anyone. Mostly because we might change our minds and I don't want to get stuck on a name only to have H decide he's no longer a fan. We have a top choice for a boy (leftover from our names for #1, who is a girl). Haven't come up with a solid choice for a girl yet. Now we've gotten mostly settled into our new apartment we'll get more serious about it.
Also, hello again! We're back from 3+ weeks in Australia and then moving from San Francisco to Baltimore and dealing with 9 days of jetlagged toddler MOTN wakeups and jetlagged parents.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 30/Oct 14
FTM, Etc: TTM
Appointments: tomorrow
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): pink
Milestones:
Symptoms: typical third trimester stuff
Rants: DD has both potty trained and discontinued using a pacifier at night over the past 2 weeks. As a result she’s not sleeping well and has been challenging (read: an absolute nightmare). At least we’re getting back in the swing of a newborn wake up schedule?
Raves:
GTKY: How is your baby naming coming along? Do you feel like sharing what name you have so far? I think her name is pretty set, but it doesn’t stop me from trying to top it. I have a list that I’m always updating and sending to DH. I think it’s unlikely we’ll agree on something else. I’m surprised our other two kids got named in a timely fashion tbh.

I ended up on insulin and Metformin. I hope you can control your GD with diet so you don’t have to be induced!

Week/Fruit/EDD: 35w3d, carrots apparently, 9/8 but induction on 8/19.
FTM, Etc: STM
Appointments: next one is Friday for NST and OB.
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Pink
Milestones: Hopefully still growing
Symptoms: Same as usual.. backpain, heartburn, peeing
Rants: I can't seem to get comfortable anymore. I either need to lay down or wear the belly band to help with the backpain but both of these things cause my heartburn to flare up. This baby is also up in my ribs so if I'm not laying flat, it's really painful.
Raves: I dunno.. glad this pregnancy is almost over but stressed about what's to come.
GTKY: How is your baby naming coming along? Do you feel like sharing what name you have so far? We still don't have a name and have less than 2 weeks to figure it out. H is absolutely useless with ideas. All he does is say no to names he doesn't like.

Today was fun.. (not!). Went into my growth scan, which also included a BPP, to find a very uncooperative baby. Despite drinking two cups of juice, she refused to wake up and cooperate, so she failed. Ended up with a NST where she refused to cooperate 😒 She finally passed when I had two MWs come in and constantly jiggle my stomach to make her react. Stubborn child 🙄

If I remember right, I started eating something substantial about 30 minutes before my appointment and drinking cold liquid before and during, and he was more active. Glad everything is okay.

I had a muffin about an hour and a half prior, jugged a kid’s size bottle of juice 30 minutes prior and another bottle halfway through the BPP. 😪 She’s actually been pretty calm all day, which is not her norm 🤷🏼♀️ I was sent in for an induction with DS2 after he had a non-reactive NST at 39w despite multiple juice boxes and massive amounts of belly jiggling (it’s always awkward as hell when they do that). When I was 37w with him, he passed his BPP in literally the last 30 seconds but went on to have a non-reactive NST. He luckily passed the second day no problem

Yesterday we snagged a changing table in great condition from OfferUp, and today I washed and folded all the newborn clothes and swaddles. OMG these onesies are so tiny! I know my son wore all of these little clothes, but I truly don't remember him being so small. Time is a trip.
It's now time to set up this little guy's nursery area, I guess. We have a big master br, so he's just going to hang out in there with us until he's big enough to share with his brother. Things are getting real? 😬

Week/Fruit/EDD: 31/romaine lettuce/Oct 7
FTM, Etc: 3
Appointments: next Tuesday (with an ultrasound)
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): green
Milestones: passed the point I went into PTL with my first!
Symptoms: lots of heartburn at night :/
Rants: this baby keeps making me drink Coca Cola. I barely drank any soda before this pregnancy.
Raves: filled out my pre registration paperwork for the hospital!
GTKY: How is your baby naming coming along? Do you feel like sharing what name you have so far? We have always decided on names from the beginning and stuck with it but keep it a secret from everyone. Our three year old keeps trying to suggest Bubble Beans.
