Toddler H is such a mess. We were travelling, and he climbed out of a pack n play while wearing a sleep sack. I was a little impressed actually.
We had VBS at church last week with my husband and I leading the music, and he ran past like 6 adults out the open door into the driveway where fortunately one of our teenage volunteers caught him. I was so mad at myself. Then he stuck his finger into a fan but fortunately no damage.
Hope everyone is doing okay with the heat. It's been awful. I'm 29 weeks now and swelling with all the heat.

We had a blackout this weekend - not fun with 3 kids. Thankfully we've been cooler these past few days. We're also a bit less stretched since DS1 has been staying at a cousin's house these past 2 days.
Otherwise, just trying to transition between jobs, still house hunting, and coordinating activities for the kids.

Why do all these A17 kiddos seem to have such a mischievous streak? M wears me out daily. Thankfully D1 was not this intense. I can’t imagine dealing with her shenanigans at 29 weeks. You rock!

Oh man, H must be a lot like my girl, who is just wild and crazy from sunrise to sunset. It’s exhausting! I’ve had to leave playgrounds many times bc she thinks it’s a fun game to run out into the parking lot. 🤦🏻♀️

Yesterday I took both kids to the pool by myself. It was fine for a while until L decided it was fun to try to jump in head first, or she was trying to run and fall face first into the water. She’s very much a fearless sensory seeker. I need more eyes to be able to keep her safe and also supervise DS.
Before we went swimming, she had thrown a tantrum bc I wouldn’t let her have my phone. She hit and kicked me, so I put her down. Well, she flailed around on the floor a bunch and then went and kicked a bar stool over on herself. She has a goose egg on the side of her head. When she gets mad she kicks, hits, bites, throws things... super big temper. I don’t even know what to do with that. I think I’m going to have to put a pack n play in the living room or something to keep her in until she chills out.

@starzia Probably lol 🤦🏻♀️
So we had an eval for developmental therapy and they said he’s doing great but does get distracted a bit or doesn’t focus on what they want him sometimes because he wants to do something else, so to help with accelerating his speech progress he will start dev. therapy for the next few months.
I have a therapy appt tonight to talk about my friends passing. We’ll see how that goes. I just want to cancel but DH called in a favor to a coworker so I have to go.
My sister is visiting so that’s fun. N adores playing with her.

addymac hope the session goes well and the developmental therapy is useful! I wonder if DS1 could benefit from that. We have our family meeting tomorrow to discuss logistics for services for the twins. They've both been making great strides just over the past two weeks, from 5-15 words each so I'm hoping they'll benefit quickly.
