I’m going to work today. The insurance company still has to look at my car. I didn’t sleep well but I know if I stay home I’m just going to worry about it more.

chrisy01 cars are replaceable...you and E are not. Don't stress about it, everything will work out. I missed the details, but am glad you are both okay! My H left this morning for Indiana. H will get home late Sunday, then leave Monday for training in Dallas. I'm so ready to watch Netflix and literally chill! I think I'll take Evie to my dad's pool Saturday.

mwhip I’m totally grateful no one was hurt in the accident. But C and I are worried because of how litigious this state is. I’m hoping work will be a good distraction.

Morning.
I stayed up way too late again catching up on a show. The evenings have been so unorganized this week. I need to make better effort to keep on schedule tonight.
The temps are amazing right now. It felt like a cool October morning walking in to work. How are the temps in the other parts of the country ladies?

The temps are amazing right now. It felt like a cool October morning walking in to work. How are the temps in the other parts of the country ladies? KC tied a record low of 56 yesterday morning. It was about the same today, although not record. Highs in the mid 80s. Pretty much unheard of for the end of July. But I'll happily take it! |

Hanging out around the farm today. Temps are mid 70's this week. It was high 90's with real feels into the 100's last week so this is a nice relief.

Yo.
It's my last day of work for a while and thank goodness cause I'm so fricking tired, I could barely get out of bed this morning. I'm looking forward to my SIL coming tomorrow, the kids are so pumped. The car is getting new tires today at Costco so MH will be there for 1.5 hours roaming the aisles, I should take bets on how much he's going to spend. My Mom is having a Baba day with Julia, she had a bug bite on her eye that came up Monday morning and it was bad, hopefully when she wakes up this morning it was better, poor thing.

vino, I want to go to Costco for 1.5 hours! Our Costco has SO many samples. It's unreal. Last time we went there was lobster ravioli, trail mix, chips, granola bars, brownies with ice cream, empanadas, salmon, gouda stuffed chicken sausage... and more! Now I'm hungry.

I haven't even talked about it much around them, but my girls are raging feminists about the unjust lack of pockets on women's clothes. They both have gone off on tirades about it that has made me so proud. Madison insists on wearing boys' shorts now so she'll have pockets.
But a lack of pockets still won't make me go fanny pack crazy.

After our big storm Saturday morning it’s been really nice. Highs in the mid to high 70s after being in the 80s-90s the few weeks prior. Humidity is down too, it’s glorious. |

It's in the 70s and mid-80s this week which is warmer than it's been most of the summer. We've had the weirdest non-summer here, but I'll take it over the scorching temps a lot of the country has had.

mwhip , I'm nosy, what are you Netflixing? i finally finished The Haunting of Hill House a few weeks ago. I'll probably watch season 3 of Stranger Things finally. And I still need to watch season 2 of Ozark. My husband is a weirdo and doesn't like those shows, so I only watch them when he travels, which he hasn't been for the last few months. I also need to catch up on Big Brother, I'm weeks behind on that as well! |

inthekitty Kim's Convenience is good! It's a Canadian CBC show so i had it PVR'd every week and really enjoyed it. I've been watching a lot of shows that have 1-2 seasons and have blown through them quickly, but they've all been really good. Trinkets What If Good Girls The Bodyguard White Gold The Society Fleabag on Prime and I'm currently in season one of Revenge on Prime, i know it was on TV for a while but never got into it, but it's been good. Next up is Scandal and Dear White People.

Took a golf cart ride and visited my fil at work. Now at my moms because I had food for the chickens and now the boys are playing in the sandbox and MJ and I are in the shade lounging.
A grocery sack went blowing and caught a chicken by the foot. She started running and freaked all the others out so they all started running. 51 chickens stampeding away from one who was scared so she kept following them. It finally came off her foot and they've all calmed down now. I about died from laughing. I threw the bag away lol.
